Ok I finally got to attend a campout and it was a great time. I know next years is a long way off, but it will get here sooner than you would think. I think if everyone would be willing to auction off a item or 2 between now and the campout, there should be plenty of funds to make 2012 the best yet.

So at this time Im going to auction off my cib pressman speedboard. It was my prized nes accessory and the only accesory i kept when i sold everything off a few years ago. Since the proceedings are going to the campout Im going to let the auction run until midnight on june 30th.

Remeber the proceeds are going to be sent to Paul for the 2012 campout . I will even pay for the shipping. So heres a chance to grab a rare nes accesory and help get the campout started on the right foot.

Im going to ask the bid to start at least $50.00

    No I havent had time. its in great condition.

    Biggest thing is and Im not telling anyone what to do, but if people are serious about making the next campout better and less stressful on Paul. I would think everyone when they have extra cash on hand, would bid any item anyone auctions for the campout up. I kind of look at it as. you will have those that can donate good items for auction and those that can buy the items, so both the seller and buyer are helping.

    I mean the speed board is a very hard to find accesory its not like Im auctioning off a duck hunt cart and expecting people to pay 200 dollars.

    I know the campout just ended but it probally would be nice for Paul to have a majority of the funds by the end of the year so he would know what options he has for next year. I mean it isnt going to be me that has to worry about getting everything ready for next year. But from 10 hrs away I will do my best to help with trying to raise funds.

    I think he is looking for a better idea of the condition of this particular item.  I understand this is a donation item, but it's understandable that people would like a good idea of what they are bidding on.  If you are unable to post a pic, can you please provide a more detailed description of any damage present?

    guess i should of made it a mystery auction lol. its in great shape. ross said he would help me post a picture. ill try take a pic when i get home tonight. as far as conditon there are no tears, stickers, writing etc on the box oe speedboard looks like the board was never used

    I'd recommend photobucket for the pictures. Once uploaded, they give you a direct link that you can paste in forum discussions/sales. If you expect people to just lay down money for something, we'd expect you to provide pictures in the least...

    i know this is gonna get locked, but maybe a thread can be made about this joint in another spot, what games is this good for? is it more of an ergonomic thing or is there some stuff its totally suited for? very very cool of you to donate the proceeds here, its really warming my heart to see so many of you guys doing auctions and donating like this, im going to look around and see if i have anything i could auction off too.

    Think of the speedboard like this, its a (in its day) cheap way to convert the standard 004 controller you already have into something similar to the Advantage. Youre just left with a directional pad instead of a joystick. You use your right 2 fingers for A-B and left 2 fingers for directional. Id rather have a joystick personally.
