Garage sale find / price check

So today I decided to go out and check the local sales and expected to find nothing as usual. Last place I go to as I am about to give up I find a huge table of games. The guy was the former owner of a few rental stores in the area.image

All of the Saturn games are CIB and in great condition on the instructions because they were never rented out. The Saturn and 32X have all hook ups.

The NES games were all new to my collection other than Toxic and MagMax. The rental stickers came right off.

  • I'm so jelly right now! Are you going to sell one of those Killer Instincts? Because if you are, I'm darn interested.
  • So you would say they are a legit seal? I am most likely having one graded if it is a real seal the other will be traded or sold.
  • They are 100% real.

Edit: We should wait for other people to chime in. I used to have a couple of sealed stuff that when the lines met in the middle of the bottom of the game, it would go straight up. This one kind of goes to the side. Its been a long time ago since I had a sealed game, probably a year at most, so I can't say FOR SURE but it does have the seams.
  • it looks very real to me also, i am not a sealed collector but i do have a handful of sealed games
  • Very cool I am liking the results so far.
  • U sell'n that mm8?
  • Probably going to try and make a trade with the MM8 at some point. I will keep you in mind and see if you are still looking for a copy.
  • Yea the SNES Seals are legit, the Sega one's most likely not, as you can see they have metal security strips under them, and those would have been put on by a video store, not part of the retail packaging.

It looks like the strips are on top of the seals to me.  The genesis one looks legit to me.
  • Awesome pick up! You made out like crazy on this one. I would be interested in Albert Odyssey if you wanted to trade/sell maybe we could work something out.
  • Wow, really great lot there! Have fun with the Saturn, great little system!
  • I like the toxic crusaders cart myself....great find man!
  • Really good deal, especially with those prospective sealed SNES games. I remember playing Primal Rage as a kid and it is a pretty killer game, though a bit archaic.
  • Great Saturn pickup!!
  • Sealed games look legit to me. Awesome score!
  • Thanks for the info everyone. As someone said the security strips are on the outside of the wrap on the Genesis games. I looked into it a little bit and the Genesis I am starting to think are legit as well. They have the really low quality shrink and some of the traits legit seals are known to have.
  • Nice MK II, I don't collect Genesis stuff but I just had to buy a sealed one of those. Your copy looks better than mine though =/
  • Great find! I don't know about the Sega ones, but those SNES ones are totally real!
  • Awesome thank you everyone for the info on the SNES games. I am pretty excited to get the Saurn up and running tonight as I never did buy one in the past.
  • dang you basically got all the saturn games i want lol... except for sf alpha (and that's because i have a copy of it lol)

    great find man

  • Yeah I am loving the Saturn haul. He has another 20 to 25 or so games I am going to make an offer on early next month if he still has them. I wasnt really planning on collecting for the Saturn but I think I am changing my mind.
  • Dude Saturn is the Beez-kneez! You have to try out Albert Odyssey.

You seriously made out like a bandit on this pick up. The Mega Man 8 pays for the whole lot lol.

    Nice find indeed!
  • saturn was a great system man, def get what you can, they do look nice on the shelf too

get figthing vipers, if you see shinobi legends.. (I'll be really really envious of ya haha) get that title too.

    Panzer D's are great titles.

Street fighter the movie was fun too
  • I do remember playing the Panzer games at a friends they were cool. I am having a lot fun so far with the games which is why I am thinking about keeping them. I am going to give it a few days to see if I decide to collect or not.
  • Went back and picked up the rest of what the guy had for Saturn. Dropped the prices down to $0.50 a game. Also found a SNES with DKC for $10.

Just like the other games the disc and instructions are great but the cases are dirty/stickered and a couple have cracks.
