Cool Flea Market Find

Cart Front This isn't an actual picture, I didn't feel like uplading one, but I found a brand new, CIB one of these today for $4.00.  It is in the box and has never been used.  i have been looking for one for a long time.  I have an extra loose one now, if anyone wants it.

    Damn, nice find! I picked one of these up off eBay just a couple weeks ago as well...funny how 3 of them turn up in collector's hands in such a short time. Which one is it btw? There's a variant with Mario & Luigi on the front (also visible on the box itself, too).

    Yes, Dain, my friend got hers, thanks a lot.  She loves it.

    Speedy, it's not the one with Mario and Luigi on it, it looks like the one in the picture.

    I was able pick up two of these in one day and have never seen another.  Nice pickup.

    Are they CIB?

    I just noticed something interesting.  On the CIB one I found yesterday, the Nintendo logo is embroidered on, but on my old loose one, Nintendo is just like stenciled on, like how they make t-shirts(I'm not sure if stenciled is the correect wording).  So there are 2 variants right there!

    I didn't know that -- that's good info. The CIB one I have has the stenciled logo. I'd be curious to know which version Speedy's is.

    It's weird.  They are the EXACT same, except the one is embroidered.  It looks alot nicer embroidered.

    Nice find!  I just recently got one myself, but mine smells like an ashtray.

    I also had one that smelt like an ashtray.  I put it outside for two days and sprayed it with Freebreeze, almost all the odor is gone.

    There is a flea market around here that is open year round.  I go at least once a month.  Its cold as hell, so there isn't hardly any sellers this time of year, but as you can see, it's worth it to check it out once in a while.  In the summer, I go almost every weekend.

    Thats funny, its the same thing I did.
