My Tale of the $7.45 Gameboy Bart and the Beanstalk Boxed

So I look on Ebay every day for Gameboy games. About a month ago I come across this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110699369941&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Yep, pissed a little in my pants. Needless to say I clicked "buy it now" and paid in seconds. I just knew someone would snake me, so I waited for the "Someone offered me more money" refund. The next day, to my surprise, I get the "Your item just shipped" email with a tracking number!! I think no way, I am the luckiest guy around.

Well to make a long story short, it never came The tracking number has said the same thing:
"Origin Post is Preparing Shipment"

I have contacted the seller and no response. I then opened a claim and they sent the same worthless tracking number. I replied the tracking number was worthless and they now are offering a full refund. They still claim they sent it (I know it takes less than a month to get items from Florida).

So if you snaked me on this, just let me know some how. I am not mad (all is fair in love and video game collecting). I just want to stop standing by my mail box every day hoping against hope.

Thank you for your time.

  • The seller put Expedited Shipping as the shipping type too, so it should have been there in 2-3 days after shipment. Bogus man. Well hopefully now that you have the refund it will show up!
  • I bet you feel like the guy in your avatar right now.
  • That stinks. I completely feel your pain. You're cautiously optimistic about getting a game for such a good price and then.... someone pulls the rug out from under you!
