Goodwill score

All are complete with nice clean discs.

Now I'm not a huge RPG fan (blasphemy, I know) but my buddy is so I called him to tell him about this score.  He was so excited that he's on his way here right now to play FF7.  His words were, "...possibly the greatest game ever made."   I grabbed 8 because is was in nice shape and Spiderman out of curiosity, I was just happy to find something.

    Whoa, that's one fantastic find! I mean, nothing too rare, but at that price you can never go wrong! I thought I did good when I paid $30 for 6 games with FF7 in the bunch. Congrats.

    Final Fantasy has always been my favorite series of all time, and I own every game, but am I the only one who liked 8 more than 7?

    Yea, probably. But I do really like 8 though! Except for the worst magic mechanic of all time.....well maybe I hated FF1's more...but still WHY SQUARESOFT!??! "oh man Im at a boss, this is gonna be a hard battle......as soon as I spend 30 turns drawing magic from him!"

    I hated the numbered magic system in FF 1. FF 8 was always a favorite of mine, even with the draw system, it  still had a good sense of urgency to it. The thing about 8 that bothered me was the fact that as you leveled up, so did your enemies , I fail to see the point of level grinding when all it does is make your enemies stronger as well. My favorite part was the GF system, it was complicated as fuck but very well done. I can't even tell you how much time I spent screwing around with the GF menus and crunching statistics, almost as much time as I spent playing Triple Triad (best mini game ever made!).

    I tend to ramble when I think about Final Fantasy, awesome score.

    Update: I started playing 7 and I can see why people get nuts for this game. I was sucked in within the first hour and I can't stop playing. Definately worth $3
