Well Game Trader moved to Georgia. So I would edit that so people don't get confused. LOl I tried calling both numbers then I texted my local friend form the forum and he gave me that info since he's been a long time NA member and lives really close.
Here's 2 that aren't listed.
Players Choice
735 Atlantic City Blvd aka Rt. 9,
Bayville, NJ 08721
Phone: (732) 551-2199
It's really on Rt. 9 but for some reason they are calling it that. I just didn't want anyone getting confused. I know about them cause me and my buddy went there once. Not sure how pickins are because they we're closed when we got there.....
East Coast Gamers
38 Robbins St,
Toms River, NJ 08753
Phone: (732) 349-1300
They are right across the street from the OCC Libary but kind of on the side of it across the street. They are on Facebook and I liked their page but they are pircey. My friend from the forum said they wanted $20 for Contra NES i think cart only. I guess it's woth checking out if your in the area....
I will be going there at somepoint. Just to see what they have.....
If I find anymore I will let you guys know or if my wife does LOL. She's the one that found East Coast Gamers so I can't take the cerdit LOL.
Toyriffic Video Games in Maplewood, MN should be added to the list. They have a huge collection of old games, most of which are very reasonably priced. They also have figures, plushies, wall scrolls and the guy working there is awesome to talk to about games. Oh, and the best part is that they don't put price stickers on their cartridges!
Only downfall is that their NES and SNES games are behind glass and N64 games are behind the counter and I like to touch stuff. But if you can get past that, it's a really neat little store.
They've been around for a bit less than a year. They opened last summer if I remember right. If you exit Illinois Terminal and walk directly forward, you'd run into the building Live Action Games is in. Walk to the front entrance, then its the first door on the right.
The owner is really nice, and will take care of his regular customers. However, I will admit the pricing can be kind of weird at times. Some games are priced better than others.
I prefer Live Action, however the stock at Exile seems to rotate faster.
I've been jumping between Live Action Games and People Play Games as my main two retro game stores.
A Gamer's Paradise - Las Vegas, NV (I know they have a second location somewhere) http://agpvegas.com
The Gamer's Paradise I visited was right next to the Pinball Hall of Fame. I think I might've scared the owner with how excited I was to be buying a power glove. If someone happens to be in Vegas, a cool arcade to visit is Gemini Arcade Palace. They mainly have rhythm games - some of which are imported from Japan and are hard to find in the states.
I shouldn't even give these people any advertisement because of their price gouging but if anyone in my area here is desperate, there's a place called Mario World at Pink Flamingo Flea Market in Naples, Florida
New store in Victoria BC called Hometech Games Plus. Nice little shop, owner is a super cool guy who cleans everything and takes care of his games. Prices are very good as well.
I'd like to see Classic Gaming Connection in Murphysboro, IL added to the list. Just a little Ma & Pa type store, not a huge collection for sale, but quite a bit available for rent. Had a loose copy of zombie nation for $180, for those collecting. Mike took good care of me. Highly recommended.
Also, Half Price Books in Bloomingdale, IL has a limited collection of games, ranging from Atari 2600 to XBox 360
Wanted to update on the Washington side of things. D-Pad in Burien is closed. He's gone online for now, may open up again sometime down the road. Northwest Toyz has closed and relocated, not sure where yet. Legends in Centralia is closed as well.
Rock 30 Games in North Dakota has a new and improved web site and online store that isn't "shady" at all now. You could also add that they have stores in Jamestown, ND and Dickinson, ND (according to their site) in addition to the 4 towns you have listed.
Also, there is a locally owned video game store in Aberdeen, South Dakota simply called "The Game Store" which has been around for about a year now and has a decent selection of retro games at fair prices. Here's their info:

I actually just ordered some stuff from that 30 Rock store... hopefully it isn't a shady experience.
I haven't ordered from their site, but I've bought stuff from one of their physical stores several times and they are legit. They sell a lot of stuff on ebay too. According to their site, they actually started as an online store and then opened the brick-and-mortar stores.

Do you have the giggles?
I wouldn't say they are great, but if you're in the area and game hunting they are worth a stop.
They have retro stuff... not exactly great pricing, they admittedly base them on Amazon prices...

Is this place new or something!? Never heard of it. Have to go check it out tomorrow.
