I noticed the opposite, as there is a lot of white while trolling through the forums. Each message box is as least as long as their avatar/sidebar, and depends on their number of icons and awards. So I would feel comforable as long as my sig is that size or less.

I've been on forums in the past where this ended up getting really bad. Like full screens of blank space because of badges, awards, etc. It's not too bad here (yet!)
We have been talking about settings some restrictions on them, but haven't done so yet. I lik seeing most of them, but I just don't like the ones that take up a ton of space.
I've yet to have or notice a problem with the signatures. I think it's a great way for people to post about themselves. Maybe there could be a way for Nintendo Age to set up a blocker to block only the signatures and/or avatars that drive people nuts. If someone doesn't like your signature, they should be able to click "block signature" or have a section to list user id's that you don't want to see the signature of.
Frankly, the signatures is one of the things I really like about NA.
I started cutting things out of mine once I added the table. Even when it comes to links, I refer to my profile page. (Which I had never taken advantage of.) How many people actually bother to check my profile for the links I'm don't know, but it's certainly easier.

I really don't have a problem with anyone's sig. I even like the up and down Spiderman one that takes up a lot of space!

I wish I had the power to enforce the 1st one on the FAQ list. There are some that bother me like the animated ones....
However, I like that I take up a lot of space with all the awards! It's like a huge swinging e-penis!
