  • Thanks Berserker, I can't wait for the Megaman One.... I'm so curious if it encompasses all megaman series or just flat out Megaman No X No Zero no ZX, no Legends etc etc
  • I'd like to see a Wario and Yoshi one. But these look good thus far!
  • Oh this is cool, is it going to branch out to Atlus stuff? SMT? or what about publisher, like I collect Treasure games.
  • Thanks man for putting this up. I pretty sure I'll be very close to a complete Zelda and Mario set.
  • This is a great idea. Can't wait to see what else is included. Will definitely need to get my Castlevania and FF's icons!
  • I'm actually kind of close for the Kirby one, nice. They're a great idea, can't wait to see some more!

I was thinking about it. We'll see how things go. Consider these a trial.
  • These award icons are so cool, and I think they do work to a degree.. I mean there will always be those who don't care and think it's stupid, but it's kinda like adding achievements or trophies to PS3/360 games, It gives me more motivation to play after beating the game; and lets me stretch the most out of my dollar.

Can we poll for series sets? If there were a Metal Gear or Kojima set, I'd have that icon =)

lol, thanks, that is pretty much exactly what I was hoping for and talked about in the other thread.

At the moment this is it. And even these aren't squared away yet. But who knows how things will go.
But there are a lot more important things that I'd like to see taken care of first before I bother making more awards.
  • Nice idea!
  • Clever. I won't ever have any of these, but I think they're a great idea.
  • This is awesome. I can probably get the Castlevania one and a mega man when it pops up. Hopefully there's a zelda and pokemon one soon.
  • Why is it not required someone own megaman 9 or 10 for the megaman one? is it because they are download only?
Also why is Wiley wars not required? It was on a cartrige in europe IIRC.
Also WIley No Light Rock Board Thats Paradise? I ask
  • That is really cool, I am working on my FF one now, a Dragon Warrior/Quest one would be cool also.
  •

While I'd never have one of these icons (because I don't collect for everything), they are really frickin cool.

  • Mortal Kombat!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im already working on it, lol.

Im going for every port though. 15/49 completed. Title only im at 9/19 and that includes the non-fighting ones.

    image <--- Got bored, lol.
  • Oooh, I am close to the Resident Evil one, and Metal Gear? plzplzplzplzplzplz?

    Street FIghter? anyone with me?
  • I'm close to the Sonic one. I have a Nokia Ngage game too.(factory sealed)

You should add Sonic and the Secret Rings on Wii to the list.
  • Sweet. I'm close to a few of them. Six off the Mario one. Two off the Metroid and two off the Zelda.
  • Okay question. Mario and Yoshi for Gameboy, correct me if I'm wrong here, but that didn't come out in the U.S. I don't think it should be on the list.
  • I really want that resident evil one I am very close just need like 2 others. Also i suggest a silent hill one
  • the mario & yoshi cart should me listed under nes if it's under gameboy, it was the uj release of yoshi.
  • CD-i titles shoud definitely be included regardless of how bad they are.

Edit: No Rondo of Blood!?!?!?!? How can you have a Castlevania set without the greatest title in the series??? I think the MSX version should be included too, but Im not going to hold me breath.

I agree to this and why isn't there a Mortal Kombat icon. There should be a icon for that game.
  • I personally vote no on CD-i... screw those games. Also, Donkey Kong has a pretty good list of games. Maybe an icon for those would be good.

    2. Must have at least 10 bonus items that have to do with the series.
This includes but is not limited to:
Games not included in the list of qualifying games, re-releases (in addition to normal releases required for #1), multiple console versions, variants (whether error, screw, etc.), compilations, games from other regions, pirates, strategy guides, promotional materials, etc.
This excludes items that are not official. (Handmade artwork, bead-art, Etsy stuff, etc.)
As well as stuff with no tangible value. (DLC, phone games, etc.)

To get an award, you need to have all the games, plus 10 more items?  Why??

  • ^^ Yeah I have to agree with MrMiniMog on this one. All the rules look good to me, but I really didn't understand this one. I'm close to a complete Metriod set, but have no idea what another 10 items would be... and to be honest I don't really want to buy 10 random metriod items. I can draw some stick figure samus' on 10 sheets of paper if that works.

This is exactly what I came here to say. Even though it's an import title, if you're a real Castlevania fan, you would have a copy of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood on the PC Engine. It's the definitive way to play it.
