Back from vacation

Well, it was an exciting trip. Montana proved to be the most fruitful place of my journey. Along the way I met NintendoTwizer at his home in Wyoming. I purchased a nice haul of games from him. We had a great time chatting, and talking games. Had it not been for our time constraints we could probably have talked all day.

Now, on to the good stuff...

Bomberman from Hastings in Gillette Wyoming, and Shadow of Destiny from a pawn shop in Bozeman Montana

The Professor Layton and Nights in the Nightmare are also both from Hastings in Gillette, the Dragon Ball Z Game is from a Goodwill in Billings Montana. Very high prices on the other things at that Goodwill, and the guy said "Our lady knows what stuff is worth." I looked at TMNT 2 on NES and said "Not if she is pricing this one at $15." The Dragon Ball Z game usually goes for at least twice the price on the tag. I would say she thinks she knows what stuff is worth.

The Tsunugai came from a different pawn shop, this one in Rapid City South Dakota. The Nocturne and Time Splitters from another pawn shop in Bozeman MT.

The Phantom Brave also came from the Hastings in Gillette. It was marked used, but is still factory sealed. I didn't pay attention to that until after I pulled it out of the bag. The Game Boy Player disc was at the same pawn shop as the Nocturne and Time Splitters. I have been looking for this by itself FOREVER, and I happened to find two that same day, litterally in the same building. One was in a pawn shop, the other in a thrift store that was outside the pawn shop. The pawn had a better price on it, though.

Now, for the NES stuff. I got all but two of these games from Aaron in Gillette. He hooked me up with a great deal on these and a few more games. The Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy came from the Goodwill where I got the Dragon Ball Z game ($2... and yet they wanted $15 for TMNT 2... I can't get over that). The Pin Bot came from another pawn shop in Rapid City. I had picked up a PS2 game, but I noticed too late it had label damage so it wouldn't play, I exchanged it for a NES and SNES game.

These are more from Aaron (NintendoTwizer)

More from Aaron. The Yoshi's Island now sits CIB on my shelf. I previously had it, but the cart was traded long ago, I kept the box and inserts:

Credit for these go to my wife. We stopped by a thrift store in Bozeman, but I didn't want to go in. It looked like it was all clothing. She found this for $0.35... crazy:

The two Mega Mans came from Aaron, the other two from a Goodwill in Bozeman. I had lost faith in GW until I found this Castlevania. $2. I have one, but without the booklet. So my double will be for sale... this one made my trip:
