My first arcade cab
So I picked this up for 25 bucks today from a friend's parents. It's a cocktail cabinet with some odd bootleg version of Pac-Man. the palette is all weird with the maze being a bright greenish yellow, and Pac-Man being red. The ghosts are red, green, dark blue, and pink. They turn bright green when you get a pellet. Their names are listed as:
Urchin/Micky
Romp/Macky
Stylist/Mucky
Crybaby/Mocky
Here's a brief game play video:
Everything is in working order and there's no major damage to the unit. And even though it's a bootleg in a generic cabinet I thought $25 was a pretty good deal on it. here are the pics.

I remember when I post my first arcade machine on here, and someone told me something along the lines of, fair warning, once you buy one machine, it'll be no time before you get another, and yesterday I picked up machine #5 and on Monday I'll be buying machine #6!
Also, I'd be really interested in seeing some video of it in action.
Being an arcade nut myself, I have to say that I'm super jealous. You can't beat $25 for any working cab, that's for sure. I usually hate bootleg stuff, but reading your description this one sounds fantastic. I would absolutely love to have such a cab in my home.
Congrats on the pick up, but be warned: Arcade cabs are addicting! One is never enough and it turns into a terrible cycle. Hahaha! I bought one and within 12 months had five more. Ah, those were the days. I plan on getting more cabs once the dust settles around my new place.
That's pretty cool, and unique as well!

I totally missed this. Hahahahahahaha! It's so true!

Interesting piece of history to bring into my home!
Here are some pics of the board and instructions I found in the cabinet. It's hard to see but the sticker on the board says Puck Man.
I'm really hoping not to catch the arcade bug as I'm an apartment dweller
nice pick up man, i too am stuck in an apt, i got one cab and can not have another for a while but i feel like now that i am looking more and more good cheap cabinets are around me.

This is how it should be done. Free space takes second priority to games.
Im pretty sure that Puck Man was the original Pac Man. Look up the info on it. Got yourself a real zinger there my friend.
It was, but unfortunately they continued to call the bootlegs Puck Man after the official changed. That's what I have.
