Quite a surprise!
I got a collection of N64 games in the other day. While I was testing them I got to Mace the Dark Age and expected it to be just that. It wasn't. It was Gauntlet Legends in a Mace shell. This is weird for lots of reasons. What on earth would possess someone to do that? lol. I was thinking swap it with a rental so you could keep it. Bamboozle the man etc. but I got nothing else. That plan doesn't even seem fool proof since the next renter can out you. /End ramble.

I'm holding my breath for the day I find a Stadium Events board in a gyromite shell
Closest thing which happens more frequently (though not recently) is finding games people leave in the toaster and the seller didn't think to check. I've gotten more Mega Man, Zelda, and Contra games that way than I'd care to admit. Which makes sense because they're so good!
We should start a thread about this. So far I have found a Kirby's Adventure, Gauntlet, and Hogan's Alley inside toasters after buying them, kind of a weird selection so it would be cool to see what other oddball games people find.

I have found probably 10-15 carts inside toasters that I picked up on Craigslist, garage sales, flea markets...whatever. The best finds were Contra, Kid Icarus, Zelda, GI Joe and Donkey Kong.
