Foe-ish Suggestion... Annoying!
Or something along those lines anyway.
Or perhaps just an option that can be toggled for Foes.
Anyway...
My logic:
When someone is a Foe, you don't see their posts at all.
But sometimes, people just annoy you.
Not enough to Foe them, but still, you at least consider it.
(For the record, I have no Foes. Which apparently means I'm a saint. )
My idea:
The top bar of the post that shows the image / date / time is made red and is all you see.
On the right, where the reply / quote is, is the Foe/Annoying person's name as a link.
When you click the link, some jquery happens that expands said person's reply.
It stays red, but the name is replaced with reply / hide.
Anyway, you get the basic idea.

Or you're getting pieces of what someone is saying from quoted replies and you want to see what's going on.
Who knows? Maybe a feature like this could turn Foes into Friends.

It just copies the text into a border and adds the heading.

It's a message board. I don't think anyone could type anything to me that would honestly get under my skin enough to make me "foe" them. If you don't like someone's post, move on. I don't really even get why the option is necessary.
I have 1 person Foe'd so I don't read their absolutely useless crap posts that generally don't involve anything with the topic or is just stupid to begin with. However, there are some people on here that I'd like to toss into the "annoying" category and this feature would kick ass.

The only time I ended up foeing someone is because their avatar / signature were meant to be very annoying and succeded overly well.
I would be onboard it if this "foe light" could disable only the avatar and signature and leave the text Then I could get rid of all the moving animated or flashing signatures and avatars and still get to see the decent ones
