Very odd you mention this now, but you are a couple days too late or somebody on this board would have been able to sell you one Sorry.
Good luck. If you find one- DONT PASS IT UP!
Lol, I have passed on two and regretted it later on each time. One of the must own sealed NES games (along with zelda, zelda II, any mega man, mario bros arcade, mario 1, mario 2, mario 3, and metroid).
Will let you know if I hear of or see one for sale.

While I agree its a great game and a classic its doesn't have "legs" like the other titles you mentioned. Unless they revive the series sometime. Its been dead for years now. Kids 10-12 have never heard of Kid Icarus so I really can't see it keeping pace with Zelda and Mario over the long haul. One of my favorite NES games its really a shame they didn't continue it. A SNES version could have really kicked ass.
yeah, I do think that sooner or later some kinda sequel will get made.. although adam's point probably holds; I can't see an icarus sequel selling like mario
Arch said what I was going to! Nintendo said they have something pretty big coming down the pipeline and with Pit being in Brawl its suspected that it will be a new Kid Icarus game. I'd settle for a new Animal Crossing though.
Yeah, it is RUMORED right now that a sequel is in the mix for the Wii. Rumors mean nothing, though.
I do see what you mean Buyatari, but I guess I am biased. One of my favorite NES games and I agree it makes no sense why they didn't do SOMETHING with the series until now.
Tough game to play at first, but once you figure it out, one you can always go back to.
True, though, that it certainly does not hold wait to the other series mentioned. It is one I always wanted sealed, though, which is why I call it a "must own". For the average collector, no chance does it hold the status that something like the Mega Man titles do.

I agree with you. Kid Icarus was and is still one of my favorite NES game, and Nintendo really missed something for not making a sequel right on the SNES Platform. Just think about Super Metroid but for Kid Icarus!!!

Best of luck, again, Blarky.
Thanks RGG. If you ever want to sell or trade me yours, I'd be all ears. But in any case, I also appreciate you keeping your eyes and ears out for one.
