EDIT: Added all rarity rankings to the N64 database! :)

4/5 ratings are hard to apply.... I'm using ebay and also factoring in supply & demand.
I feel myself getting trigger-happy with the 3's all the sudden
.
Anyone have any guides/lists that might be good for referencing?

nice dude. where are you going to put Indiana Jones IB?
No clue, I really have no clue about IB rarities so I'm just making all three ratings for each game the same for now.
each game link will take you to a chart; below the graphic you'll see "Volume:about XX sales per day" which can be complemented with the "Completed Auctions" tab

Hmm.... but doesn't that hint more towards popularity than rarity? From a few volume checks I just did though it seems to be consistant with rarity actually..
probably not the best..but its out there
there is this too: http://www.rarityguide.com/n64_view.php?SortDirection=d...

That's pretty bad, Conker's is not rare at all, it just has high demand and sells for a decent amount.
Maybe I can go through and tweak the box / manual rarities at a later date. However, one note on rarity.
I view rarity as relative to the platform. So in my mind, Sculptor's Cut Manual is the N64 R10, box is an R9 and cart is an R8 maybe. I'm not saying that a Scuptor's Cut manual is as rare as SE, but in terms of N64, it is the hardest item to obtain by far.
I'm only looking at the top, but Stunt Racer and Beast Wars are equals IMO. I think ISS 2000 ranks behind those two. Goemon farther behind than ISS.
I see Indiana is now R4/R7/R7? Definitely no more than R4/R6/R6, maybe even closer to R4/R5/R6 (cart / box / manual). Been so many CIBs this year I've lost count. At least 20 to 30.
This should spark some interesting conversation though, curious to see people's opinions. I actually had didn't have Goemon anywhere near the top of my list, but maybe I just got lucky on one and never paid attention to it.
I agree with jone that the 10-point scale should be relative to other titles in the library. Otherwise the Sculptor's Cut manual would be like the only 7 (possibly 8) and too many titles would be lumped into the common pile. Everything would just be too warped.
I'm surprised Goemon's Great Adventure isn't a more expensive title, considering how Mystical Ninja starring Goemon is a bit of a cult hit. I'm still not convinced it's worthy of a 7, at least in cart form, but then again I just outright bought it CIB from someone on here and never really looked for it.
So are we just going to adjust the rarities based on discussion, or is there a system to it? I don't want this rarity list to end up like SNES where box/manual rarity = corresponding cart rarity, we can do better than that.
Looks good. Stunt racer could be a little higher (6,7,7 IMO) (and indiana jones a little lower (4,6,5) but it is good to see a rarity guide of the n64 taking form. I have no idea of the rarity of games that were released in both PAL and NTSC (as I just buy the PAL version) so quite a lot of those ratings are pretty interesting.
(Cool - I'm now a 'crack trooper' )
