I think the Lesnar Taker match is great for business, it's been years in the making, and should have happened this year.
Blah, you mean years ago already made. They have had 3 PPV matches against each other already.

I really don’t follow WWE anymore. Although I loved it in the 90s and early 2000's. Loved the Rock, Mankind, and Kane!
I do however follow MMA hardcore and I know some WWE fans watched Lesner when he was in the UFC.
After Lesnar lost to Cain he walked by Undertaker as he was giving an interview and the Undertake said "You want to do this?" and also said "He maybe needs to train a little harder."
So for the fans that follow MMA and WWE I think there is a lot of interest in a match being made.

I remenber a UFC match where Taker was front row for Lesnar's fight a few years back. Appartenly they have real beef with each other. Thats what I was refering to, not a rematch.
That said I would rather see the Stinger go up against Taker, but that would pretty much put TNA ot of business. Look at all the talent they lost this year, I would'nt be suprised if Vince bought them out some time soon for his network.
I used to watch wrestling all the time. But since I been working at wallmart I usally dont get to see the show a lot and the fact I didnt have cable for a long time. I would like to bring up some awsome moments of the past. Like when Macho Man drove out to the ring in a monster truck and at Halloween Havic or his cage match with flair over a nude pic of miss elzebeth. The time stone Cold took the beer truck and smashed it into the ring amd also got vince to piss himself and lets not forget the many entrances the Undertaker has made from the DEADMAN to The American badass. I remeber wathing back when he had the match with Jake the Snake Roberts it was brutal. Ahhh so many memeories. Well I got to study oenmy goals is to make it to the wwe.
I like how Michael Cole played off Undertaker's bike failing when he was the American Badass. Something like
"He's not even going to waste time riding his bike out to the ring. He's going to WALK DOWN TO THE RING, NEVER LOSING EYE CONTACT WITH HIS OPPONENT."
I really enjoythe pre 2000 kane. He is just so fun to watch. His outfit is so awesome then. I think around 2001 I started disliking kane's attire. Now a days (last time I watched was maybe 5 years ago) kane looks stupid, no face mask, his outfit with no top shirt.
Honestly wrestling entertainment is outdated now a days and likely will fail to exist in years to come without some serious progression. Not sure what you guys see in modern wrestling now a days.
You guys remember when Mankind beat the rock for the WWF champ belt. Stone cold coming out and hitting the rock with the chair. God the crowd during that event was so beautiful, they were so in love with the show.
also wild how many people fucked with people by using laser pointers. God as a wrestler I would of been so annoyed during my talking moment, mainly Undertaker was abused the most.

Part of this sounds like.
"The Nintendo and Super Nintendo were cool, they knew how to make games back then, and the characters were so awesome. Modern games are not appealing."
WWE's ratings are still very high, although many fans of the Attitude/ Nitro Wars era dislike the current PG one. The younger generation may.
I'm sure there was a chunk of 70's wrestling fans that thought late early 90's to 2000 wrestling was trash.
^I agree with your last paragraph, but the fact that WWE has no real competition anymore is certainly not a good thing. Monopolies lead to complacency. I know there is TNA, but they're not competition like WCW was. That said, there is a ton of talent out there right now, but I can understand why those who were into the attitude era, and ECW or WCW in the 90s don't care for the current WWE product. That era of wrestling was much more hardcore and often pushed the limits of television decency.
As a father now, I'm glad that WWE is something that my kids can watch. If I had children in the late 90s, I doubt I would have let them watch wrestling. I miss the old hardcore stuff, but you can always watch old ppvs and such on YouTube or wherever. I can tell you that I really dislike listening to Michael Cole. I wish they would get Joey Styles to replace him.
I'm not a fan of Michael Cole either. I agree with you too, it does seem complacent. I don't know their target demographic, but maybe they're mainly targeting like 5-15 year olds and are just complicit with that. Both McMahon and Dana White have said they are not competitors and are friends. I think they are losing a chunk of their adult watchers to UFC/MMA.
I keep tabs every now and then. I watched Raw last week, and I find the story lines and new character development lacking. I don't know much about the structure of "sports entertainment" story development, but I do know they have been struggling with establishing ratings "Super Stars." And that's why they keep bringing back older talent. I think they should have more evolution type groups, where Randy Orton was paired with Ric Flair and Batista. So the new talent can grown on you while the old talent is still there.
And as I mentioned they are not without some decent established new talent, but the bulk imo is bland.
I'm sick and tired of HHH burying Bryan. This isn't a slow build to DB eventually going over, it's Trips putting his nuts in the fans faces saying I'm in control and there's nothing you can do about it. They have successfully killed ANY interest I had in supporting the WWE Network or even wanting to watch Wrestlemania (via legal means or not). I hope the crowd at wrestlemania sh*ts all over the main event (and the whole event for that matter) but we all know that won't happen
I wasn't sure where to post this, as it's not really WWE per-say, but figured some of you might be interested to hear what Buff was up to now:
Ex-WCW star Buff Bagwell now a gigolo?
A former pro wrestling star has landed a second career in which clothing is presumably also not in abundance.
Buff Bagwell, a World Championship Wrestling regular from 1991 to 2001, is gaining notoriety in the male escort business, according to multiple reports.
Bagwell, whose real name is Marcus Alexander Bagwell, appeared on the Showtime reality TV series "Gigolos" on Feb. 27.
Cowboys 4 Angels describes itself as a "personalized male escorts for women companion service that caters to the most discerning, exclusive woman who expects the best." In case you were wondering, the going rate for Bagwell is $800 for two hours and $3,000 for a full night.
Cowboys 4 Angels owner Garren James told TMZ that Bagwell -- a 44-year-old whose bio states he's 6-foot-1, 230 pounds -- has quickly become his second most-popular escort.
During his wrestling career, Bagwell competed under a number of stage names, including The Handsome Stranger, Buff Daddy, and Bagwell.
The appearance was not a publicity stunt, according to Cowboys4Angels.com, which lists Bagwell under its escort section.

What would be cool is for Daniel Bryan vs Triple H match had a stipulation that if Bryan wins he gets put in the main event for the WWE Heavyweight Championship later that night. Imagine if he won that? That would be legendary!
Bossman was a lame opponent for taker and I remember hating that part of it back then. I thought the Austin Rock match was sloppy but had so much energy. The Rumble that year did blow it out of the water though.

Kane in the Rumble was lol. He just eliminated himself chasing after the "Psych Ward Doctors" after he eliminated everyone in the ring, which was around 6 or 7 people.
Has anyone subscribed? What's your feedback? I mean... I assumed a ridiculous amount of people were going to want to sign up, so a backup seemed inevitable... what are your thoughts?
I hope Triple H beat the crap out of Daniel Bryan so we don't have to watch this B class wrestle compete in a A class event. That being said I hope The Animal Batista wins the championship, and if you not a fan, then deal with it.

Yes, because clearly that's what the fans want. A continuous repeat of a decade ago of Cena/Orton/Batista champions? The only reason why he's back is because of Guardians of the Galaxy and Vince trying to help make a buck. Heaven forbid you give the fans something they would want.

Been subscribed since day. It has had its issues, but they have corrected a few of them. My biggest problem is there is not chapter selection on all events or programs, xbox 360 app doesn't even have this option. It does not save where you left off, so if your watching a 4 hour event and you lose internet 2 hours in, you have to manual fast forward back to the point you left off at, kinda like a VCR.
The good is the content. So far there is not a ton of new content, but what they have shown so far as for original show, they are pretty good. I really like Wrestlemania Rewind that profiles one Wrestlemania match, pretty good focus on one event, quality is very similar to there dvd releases. Having access to the entire back log of PPV events is pretty cool, watched a few of them I used to own or stuff I never had a chance to see.
Interface seems good enough, easy to navigate and find what you want. Only real issue is the save state, need something like Netflix has.
I would recomend it if you are a wrestling fan, easily worth the $10 a month.

Wow. Last I heard he was in a major car accident that messed him up bad.
I'm suprised he is an escort given the severity of the car wreck.

The matches were just bad though, just terrible.
I was disappointed. The Undertakers match was one of the worst hell in the cells I've ever witnessed.
It was even funnier when they hung bossman, they skipped in the middle of hanging him to a damn showing of the fued of the Rock and Austin.
I felt the PPV's throughout the year were better than that event, guess I pehaps could have my panties in a bunch though.

Chances are CM Punk will interfear costing Triple H the match.
But I'm still looking forward to Brock Lesnar beating the Unertaker so badly that he has to retire, thus ending the streak indefinety.
