  • big show fucking sucks
  • I like the Ambrose vs. Rollins thing they've got going on. It's going to be interesting to see wht happens at MITB.

Owens vs. Cena will be cool, too.
  • Big Show and Kane have been stale for years now. They're both over the hill, their matches are boring and they need to just retire already. I understand they're respected vets who contributed plenty to the business, but that doesn't mean they're good for business today. Any feud with them is an instant snorefest. Please move on already, for the sake of everyone.

Beating them doesn't do much since they're glorified jobbers now. Having them win does nothing either. It's lose-lose all the way around.

At least Mark Henry has been phased out. And Khali is MIA thank God.

Now if we can only say the same for Kane and Big Show. Moreso Big Show. At least Kane seems to be putting a little more effort into his body of work lately. And his range is far better than Boring Show/Big Slow.
  • Anyone else think the r-truth spot last night was genuinely funny? I had to rewind it bc i was like did that actually just happen lol!

If you had 1 match, to convince someone to get into wrestling, which would you pick?

I would have to say the Mankind vs Undertaker Hell in The Cell. It was clear no one knew what was going to happen next. Jim Ross had such strong genuine emotion while commentating that every time I watch it I still get goosebumps. The reaction to Mankind getting back up out of the stretcher from the crowd was incredible. It really was the best match in my opinion. It had everything from crazy moves, emotion, and the unexpected.

  • Rest in Peace Dusty....deliver them bionic elbows in the afterlife sir
  • R.I.P. Dusty! Man, now I'm sad today.
  • Just heard about Dusty Rhodes... RIP. Sadly, passing at 69 years of age is a pretty good life for a wrestler..
  • RIP Dusty.

Sad day for wrestling fans everywhere!
  • dusty will be missed dearly, i wonder if nxt will be the same now that hes gone. rip american dream
  • I'm devastated. The son of a plumber was my favorite wrestler of all time.
  • relive the memories, starting with one of his most iconic promos

  • RIP Dusty Rhodes.

I can see WWE turning Stardust back into Cody Rhodes, making him a huge underdog babyface and the 'next' Daniel Bryan. Really see it happening. Stardust character flopped for me... i never bought into it. Was it sinister? Was it wacky? It was always undefined to me and thus, I never cared.

Cody is a good worker and should go back to IC level face Cody. He was HOT for a while, but then they dropped the ball on him (shocker shocker...)

In light of this sad passing, it would be nice to see Cody reinvent himself and honor his dad. Hell, I'd drop him in the Ladder match as a bonus and just to shake it up, I might even let him win it. Or at least give him a good showing in the match.
  • RIP Dusty Rhodes.

  • RIP Dusty. The business lost a great mind and awesome dude.
  • Why we're Joe and Kevin Steen still on the ROH page?

Don't have any idea why steen is, they are trying to bank off him right now. I guess they ordered a line of action figures and steen is one of them. Wwe is real pissed about the fact that they will be putting one out befor they do, I don't know the conditions on how they get to do this still. I guess wwe doesn't own his likeness, just his name. Joe is still an active roster member until his last event with them later this month so I can see why they still have him up, they wanna do anything to get attention.

Watched nxt and joe said to owens that he was running from him and owens rebuttle was "I really don't run anywhere" lololol

I'm thinking some of the well known indie guys probably have some sort of provision in their NXT contracts that they may still be able to occasionally appear on other shows...not very WWE-like to allow such a provision, but it would make sense in Joe's case, given his widespread fame outside of WWE.

  • Joe, ryhno, and brian Kendrick's were the only people on nxt to have this kind of contract, but joe got signed to an exclusive deal recently so once all his indie bookings are up that's it. It was prob a money issue, they didn't wanna give him a lot for nxt but really wanted him so they let him take other bookings. Nxt doesn't pay a lot I guess, it's why the young bucks turned them down and befor and I heard ach did the same.
  • So I missed Smackdown last night and am too lazy to go on WWE network for the recap. Did I miss anything leading up to MIB this weekend?
  • Real shame dusty never got a push in the wwf. he just did not have that titan sports body type. he was a great mind in the business and his legend will live on. Hope every match on monday gets a dusty finish
  • Dusty was towards the end of his career during his wwe run anyways, I'd rather of had him in the nwa having great matches with flair and race than being in wwe. Ric flair and dusty might be the greatest feud to ever happened in wrestling

I don't feel like finding the other wrestling thread so I'll say this here, pentagon jr fucking rules
  • I'm stoked for MiTB tomorrow night.

What matches is everyone looking forward to?
  • So the Money in the Bank was the first match of the ppv, I'm wondering if that means the briefcase might be cashed in before the end of the night.

My thoughts exactly. Lame-us is an odd booking choice. I'm hoping he gets his ass kicked trying to cash in.

I'm glad, hopefully Kevin Steens match is up soon. I have to work early and the only to events I care to watch are the US title and the Money in the bank.
  • Owens and cena do it again, what great chemistry and what a great match
  • The Cena/Owens match went a little long. I dont like the fact that Owens is still the NXT champion and wrestling on RAW or Smackdown, if your the NXT champ then you should wrestle in the NXT. I thought the MIB match was a little silly, at first every contender was in the ring, then with one hit each EVERY wrestler was out for a good 1 1/2 so only two wrestlers could duke it out. In a singles match one punch wouldnt take any and I do mean ANY of those wrestlers out like that. But overall only 2 out of the all the matches ended the way I would have liked them to.

Cena/Owens match and the Tag Team title match.

PS I'm tired of the Nikki Bella as Divas Champion.
