Ryback was promising, but was sadly soon buried by CM Punk/The Shield/WWE Creative.
Would have been interesting if they let him beat Punk clean and gave him a dominant title run... we'll never know. But, to everyone's credit, after they buried him with that stupid heel bully gimmick, he has made an amazing bounceback. I liked his last promo on Smackdown. He's pretty damn over. Who knows... with the right booking he may yet find himself back in the WWE title picture. I would love to see a Ryback vs. Brock program as well. I think Ryback, along with Sheamus, Orton, Reigns, Bray and Big E, is one of the small handful of WWE superstars who could have a legitimate believable feud with Brock.
It'd be interesting to see him face Brock. I still feel Brock would win, but it would be nice to see Brock face someone he can't just throw around like a toy. Given Ryback's brute strength, he could at least force Brock to wrestle a little more creatively.
Is anyone here a CM Punk fan? He sort of got me interested in wrestling again and since he left I havn't really watched. My cousin has the network and I still catch a PPV every now and again.
I like Punk. I think he's interesting because he showed us first hand what happens when you're insanely over with the crowd, but buck the system too much and not reach their full potential. The way he left shows that all the money and fame sometimes isn't worth it if you're truly burned out on something. And he's pretty good wrestler too.
Give New Japan a shot if you want something different. It's only $8 and change a month for NJWorld (their "WWE Network). The in-ring content is so much better. Or if you have cable, they have a weekly show on AXSTV where they have matches from the past couple years with English commentary

punk was the reason that i watch wrestling again, i use to tune in randomly when i was bored but nothing every caught my attention until the summer of punk thing wwe did. that promo on cena and vince was so good i had to keep watching. i wonder wat he would be doing right now if he remained with the company, it would be cool to see him aganst alot of the guys coming up right now, i think they blew it with him and the product really is missing him
Taker looks rough, but he definitely looks better than he did the last time he faced Lesnar. Here's hoping he doesn't get a concussion in the first minute of the match again.
I have a feeling taker is going to get hurt and not make wm this year. He deff looks like he's in a little better shape but he's too old to be thrown around like that.

I think it's less age, and more the mileage his body has taken over the years. Sting is older than Taker, and in much better shape. I saw a picture Taker's trainer tweeted of him lifting in a gym, and his arms looked solid, but his legs were twigs. That's why he wears those thick leather pants now.

i thought the same thing on raw, his arms look pretty good but thats it. sting is in bad shape too though, the last couple years he couldnt even do a proper scorpion death lock because his knees were so shot. its deff a combination of being old and a ton of milage. the last 5 years of undertakers career he hasnt had very much matches but the ones he did have were pretty grueling for someone in the business as long as he has been

Punk is great and as real as they come. This interview here with Colt Cabana is one of the best I've ever heard. A Top 10 for me. He goes into all the dirty tactics pulled by the WWE while he was there and holds nothing back. A must listen for sure:
Can't wait to go to nxt tonight, the only thing I'm mad about is seeing Samoa joe for the first time and having it be him wrestling baron corbin
yeah, but they can't blow their wad of great matchups early. We have Joe vs Zayn, Joe vs Itami, Joe vs Balor, Joe vs Owens (and other matchups consisting of these 5) to look forward to in the future
Can't wait to go to nxt tonight, the only thing I'm mad about is seeing Samoa joe for the first time and having it be him wrestling baron corbin
Have fun man!!!
I'm just stoked Joe is on the card. Baron Corbin sucks and is green as shit but hopefully a match like this, with Joe taking control, might help him learn.
WWE has been giving Corbin a decent push here.... I just hope that doesn't mean sacrificing Joe for it. Joe has been pretty well protected since coming to NXT. He squashed a bunch of dudes and got a clean pin on Rhino. I hope they go forward with Joe on top. It's only logical when you look at their history.
Side note: who else was stoked when Joe FINALLY got new music??? That first music was AWFUL. WWE usually hits that shit outta the park, but not this time. Didn't matter, though.... They fixed it.
Second side note: I am flipping STOKED for this weekends shows.... Although I won't watch until Monday, I'm still beyond stoked.
Yeah.... Then rubber match at WM? Retirement match for Taker? Either way, it's going to be hella interesting.
They are setting up some type of dirty win for taker, thats why he keeps going to the low blow and cole says he will do anything to win. he will do something to win the match but not pin lesnar clean so lesnar still looks strong and mark will still get the win. sould see some type of match at survivor series to blow off the fued before the rumble so taker can work with sting at mania

Not sure where you're getting your info from. I try to stay away from spoilers.
Would suck if Taker works with Sting at wrestlemania.... For the simple fact they're both big time baby faces and Sting losing twice (which I think would have to happen so Taker wins at his last mania) would not be cool.
Taker could "pass the torch" at 'Mania, maybe turn Wyatt baby face in the process (with a show of respect after the match) but something about Taker losing at wrestlemania just doesn't feel right.
They've been pushing off a baby face turn for Wyatt since forever though, so maybe they're waiting for something like that to do it.
I mean, seriously, he's one of the most over wrestlers they have and yet they still work him heel. When the crowd was singing "He's got the whole world in his hands" it was EPIC!! I think they're are holding off for a huge baby face turn at some point.... I just hope they don't wait too long.
Side note: I think Reigns, while he's getting better as a baby face, would make an excellent heel and it would allow him some more freedom.
Bayley vs. Sasha was the best women's wrestling match I've ever seen, period. And maybe in my top 5 all-time matches, male or female. It was THAT good. 5 star classic. The "Four Horsewomen" curtain call was the icing on the cake.

The best women's match I ever seen was Charlotte and Sasha at the live nxt event in Albany that I saw but that's followed by Sasha and Becky from last takeover. I'm gonna have to rewatch the match from last night and see how it looked on tv for the comparison, but it really was a fucking killer match. I just couldn't celebrate like everyone because I love the boss so much and it sucked seeing her lose

WWE needs to do something big to pull me back in.

You can see the difference with punk gone too...

You guys ready for SummerSlam?
SUMMA SLAM... Tonight yay.
I'm thinking Eric Rowan and Kane will return to the ring tonight, but I'm hoping for something more shocking. I love wtf moments in WWE.
