Roman Reigns beat Lameus last night for the title on RAW. McMahon was there, it was nuts, and surprisingly well delivered. I'm at a loss that they did this on RAW, and happy they finally booked a solid close to this for now. Now we have to see how they'll play off of this going into the RR...
I passed out right before the match. As to why this happened on Raw, this must've been them pulling out the big guns to drive ratings up. Vinny Mac makes an appearance? Testicle jokes? WHC title changing hands? Those kinds of things are used super sparingly.
I'm glad he won the title. I'm just sad I fell asleep and didn't see it. Now that he legitimately has the belt, the IWC can stop having panic attacks over the possibility of him winning it. Let's see what he's got.
I also didn't catch the ending of RAW, I'll probably watch it in full tomorrow. I'm shocked that Roman Actually won the title. And I don't really have an issue with it unless I watch it to find out he wins via spear. Otherwise I could care less, it's still the same weak product WWE has be trying to sell us for over a year now.
Hopefully Wrestle Mania has some amazing match like Taker vs Sting, Lesnar vs Batista, or Rock vs Roman. Triple HHH vs Roman sounds like it will most likely be the main event at this point which is ok. A lot better then Roman vs Cena or Seth which is the only way I see him lossing the title at this point.
Well, he did win with a spear; he speared right through Sheamus attempting a Brogue Kick. Came off pretty nice, actually. I watched a replay of the match on Youtube, and it was pretty brutal. PPV-quality match.
I think Roman wins almost every match with a spear. I would have like to see him do something more spectacul then average to become champion. Since Sheild dismembered he's always had this smug look on his face like he's intitled to the WWE and his preformance mediocore. Until that changes (which will probably be never) I'm not a fan of his. I was really hoping for a heel turn, it would better suit his arrogant attitude and weak preformance. But it seems there trying to work some kinda rebel angle like CM Punk or Daniel Bryan, because it work so well for them in the past.

To be fair, everybody wins their matches with their finisher. Doesn't matter if they just did some insane maneuver like a jumping superplex off of the top rope, they win with whatever silly special slam they call theirs. Half the finishers theses days don't look any more painful than a takedown or hip toss.
nxt takeover was once again a solid show! It's amazing how "less is more" when it comes to the setup of the arena. Fairly basic (for WWE standards). If you haven't watched it yet, give it a go!

I am so excited for Wrestle Kingdom 10. I dont think it's going to be on ppv like WK9 was. I was hoping they were going to do the whole JR/Matt Stryker english commentary again. Either way If I have to figure out to new japan world I will. The card is stacked.

njpwworld.com
and sign up for a month, it's 999 yen (around $9-$9.50 us) the issue is it's on at 3am Monday January 4th if you want to watch it live lol. I'm not sure how they are doing the English broadcast (last year it was on PPV, but it fell on a sunday). I'm gonna be up at 3am myself cause last year fucking delivered and (for me) is still the show of the year this year.
Im watching wrestling society x. Never heard of this show until now. You guys should check it out. Zakk Wylde is the ring announcer and there are tons of great wrestlers and atches.
we are 22 hours from, probably, the best show of the year and I'm fucking PUMPED!!! Baring injury, Nakamura and AJ should be a very early contender for MOTY and the rest of the card is going to be solid!
Do yourself a favor and spend the $9 for this month of NJPWorld to watch Wrestle Kingdom 10. The first half of the show was decent, but the final three matches (Shibata vs Iishi, Nakamura vs A.J. Styles and Okada vs Tanahashi) all delivered in different but great ways. After watching it, you won't want to go back to the shitshow that is Raw (unless you like crap that is lol)
I stayed away from Raw/The internet for one week because I didn't watch Raw and you guys AREN'T talking about AJ Styles, MG Anderson, Doc Gallows, and Nakamura getting signed by WWE!?!?!?!
I went online yesterday (after finally watching Smackdown) only to find WWE is pumping out news articles and interviews about these guys signing!!!???? They've got an interview with Finn Balor, Balor is tweeting all this crazy stuff... Machine Gun had on "demon" tights at Wrestle Kingdom 10....
I think this is a huge move by WWE in order to pump up Wrestlemania. Whatever the reason, however late, I think it's great. AJ styles will be in WWE.
If you look at the roster, they are finally able to build up to something with great WRESTLING matches. This has been done by bringing in the top wrestling talent from all over the world. WWE realized they needed to step up their in ring game (PC can't train people that well, that fast) so they brought in KO, Neville, Zayn, Itami, and later Samoa Joe.
These guys are the future main events of WWE and Wrestlemania.
Guys like Sheamus, Ziggler, Barret... You can tell by watching them they can't work as well in the ring as the aforementioned guys. WWE just takes time integrating them into the storylines and roster. It'll take time, but it will happen. HHH is too smart not to give the best wrestles the best spots on the card. WWE fans want it.
I stayed away from Raw/The internet for one week because I didn't watch Raw and you guys AREN'T talking about AJ Styles, MG Anderson, Doc Gallows, and Nakamura getting signed by WWE!?!?!?!
I was going to post something the other day when I saw it. Based on what I understood from the article I read, there's just discussion between both sides and none of them have actually signed yet. It is being mentioned on the official WWE website, which would be a bit odd unless there's something to it. They even refer to them as The Bullet Club, so maybe they bought the rights to the name as well.

I really haven't watched much WWE other then ppv the last in the last two month. It got kinda boring. This is great news, and I did hear a bit about it. Looking forward to RR suprise entrence.

I've been pretty much checked out since Survivor Series. I still read the Raw and Smackdown results, but it doesn't seem like I've missed much other than Reigns winning the title on Raw a few weeks back.
They did the same with dusty and steamboat. Hire them to keep them away from competition.
Haha, this isn't some wrestling conspiracy man.
NJPW and WWE have a good working relationship (clearly). NJPW knows that WWE is the top company in the world and is likely honoured WWE is going to showcase their homegrown talent like Nakamura... The Bullet club and AJ Styles was bound to happen. Afterall, it's not like the WWE would have NOT known about the Bullet Club while bringing Fergal in...
The best thing in the world for AJ styles was going to Japan... now WWE can rely on that when they bring him in.
WWE has alwasy brought in the top talent from around the world. That is literally their job as promoters. It's not "stealing talent", it's called getting the best pro wrestlers in the world under one company.
Over the past 1-2 years WWE has clearly made a concerted effort to increase the quality of their roster. KO, Neville, Samoa Joe, Zayn, Finn Balor, and now these four.
It was obvious that the wrestling in between the ropes needed to improve and WWE has taken the steps in acquiring the best professional wrestlers in the world.
Also, with The WWE NEtwork now in Japan, and a 100,000 seat venue to sell out coming up... WWE needs all they can get. And this is amazing.

WWE showing Finn Balor with a Bullet Club shirt on with his foot opening the PC door looking at his watch is a pretty telling story.
WWE was forced to report on it because they couldn't keep it secret, it seems like.
If you had an internet channel just recently made available in Japan, you'd try to sign their top stars, too.
It's called being a wrestling promoter.
And being the top star in Japan, pretty much makes you the top star in the world, outside of WWE. Of course these guys were going to get signed. Info leaked.
If WWE is trolling us, they're surely going to sign them after the reaction. Nope... not trolling. Or Fergal Devitt would get fired. No way he would do something so stupid (the picture) if they weren't.... Someone leaked the signings, WWE jumped on it... Royal Rumble. Shinsuke Nakamura....
Watching last weeks RAW now. Im glad Jericho announced himself as a RR entrance now, instead of WWE tryn to make it a surprise. I also like the four some gangs that have recently been formed, hopefully the team of 3D, Rhino, and Tommy Dream lasts longer the the Social Rejects.
I want to see more Social Outcasts. Bo Dallas and Heath Slater are pretty awesome on the mic.
Sarcasm? Bo Dallas is hilarious... but Heath Slater? I mean, I like him more since seeing him on Swerved and what not, but his in ring character and work leave a little to be desired.
I'm actually thinking there are groups forming so the when Bullet Club arrives they're going to destroy everyone and be the one's who stay together. I mean. I like the #SocialOutcasts individually, especially Curtis Axel, but it's not really a long term gimmick. I mean, on the surface, it's prettty funny... but Curtis Axel can be so much more (he's the best worker, without even question).
The Wyatts, of course, can always remain. I mean, look at it this way. If they bring in Bullet Club and they end up going against the Wyatts The Wyatts are going to lose and Doc Gallows is going to take out Braun Strowman. Bray Wyatt doesn't even have to lose and he's proven that losing doesn't really hurt his character.
It's the ONLY way to capitalize on The Bullet Club... WWE isn't stupid. Bullet Club will have to win whatever feuds they're in. It HAS to be the best/easiest/most logical nWo takeover angle since the original nWo. Bullet Club comes in, wants to run the show. Simple and logical.
Also, the WWE Network was just released in Japan. Wrestlmeania is a huge show. Taz has reported that Nakamura is scheduled to be at the PC in February... so I'm thinking that 100% they are planning to have Nakamura wrestle at Wresltmania.
FUCK that would be awesome.

There's too many storylines, talent, and different angles going on that there's always going to be something fucked up.
I look at it like this, WWE has FINALLY realized they need to start bringing in legitimate professional wrestling talent and that they can't get people camera ready in the performance center the way that travelling the world can.
They've known it for a long time, but it's become evideent in the mid-card/main event, and now they're finally admittting defeat and bringing in the best talen in the world, finally.
Examples. The Miz, Morrison (especially at the time), Ziggler, Sheamus, Barrett have all been pushed to the moon and even world champs. The Miz wrestled in a god damned Wrestlemania main event. They are NOT very good professional wrestlers. They are mid card guys at best.
After years of trying to push mid card guys to the top spot without them getting over well enough with the fans has been frustrating for them, I'm sure. Hella frustrating for fans like me, and us it seems like. But it's because the guys aren't the best workers.
Now (over the past 1-2 years) they are bringing in world class workers. Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe, Neville, Zayn, Finn Balor, Hideo Itami, Tomasso Ciampa, etc. Even the jobber guys in NXT can at least work.
Titus O'Neil can't work. Baron Corbin can't work. The Miz and Ziggler are okay, but they're not even close to on the level of Samoa Joe or Kevin Owens. See what I'm saying?
It's going to take a bit of time for these guys to get integrated into the storylines, but it's happeneing.
KO is wrestling on every show and is proving all the haters wrong every night. As if his feud with John Cena didn't teach them anything. Balor, Joe, and Zayn are on their way. Neville is still being put to use. It's all looking up from here.
NXT, New Japan and the WWE PPVs is enough to wet my wrestling pallette. Only Raw/Smackdown I watch is if I hear there's a good match/segment, then I go find it on youtube the day after. This might change once Nakamura gets brought over, but even then I'll probably wait til day after so I dont' have to sit through all the crap...
I've been watching youtube vids. And it sounds as though the Hardys may make a return at some point in 2016. They are hoping for a retirement match against 3D. I've also heard there is speculation that Morrison will return.
I'm really hoping for a shocking appearance this Royal Rumble. The past few have really just brought back guys from injuries and retirees. I want to see some one fresh and new or some big guns that might stick around for awhile.

Well.... it'd be good for Jeff. Coming back from breaking his leg would be good. Matt Hardy is a bit of a dick and has always been just good. The "I will never die" Matt Hardy thing is awkward at best. TNA makes these guys look like a joke with the whole World Titles Series.... it'd be good for them to have some crazy matches in WWE to finish their career.
I undertsand what you're saying about having shocking appearances and having it be someone fresh to stick around for a while... but the truth is, they already HAVE the guys there for that. They can't keep burning through talent... so bringing in someone "new" who will stick around won't necessarily be the best thing because of all the talent that still needs some spotlight. Breeze, Joe, Neville...
That being said.... Bullet Club are incoming and what the WWE is going to do with that will be interesting. I don't think they could pull anything off for The Rumble
Nakamura will probably wrestle at Wrestlemania.
Also, let's all be thankful to Kevin Owens, Itami, and Balor for being humble enough to sign contracts that saw them sit on the bench watching guys learn how to roll in the Performance Center for a month i norder to prove to the WWE that they could do things the right way.
Nakamura is apparently spending time at the PC in Feb (Taz show) so that's gotta mean Wrestlemania. With what WWE is doing in Japan... It's gotta mean a Wrestlemania match. Against who... I don't know.

Haha... I don't even actually know if "Mundo" will be on LU, I assume so. I forget what happened at the end of their last show... Mundo vs. El Patron? It's a little strange having the taped show. Like... it was cool to see him pop up in NJPW after the season was over, though.

I hope Morrison returns. And hope none of new day eliminates another.
You mean... Jan. 27th on Lucha Underground?
Haha... I don't even actually know if "Mundo" will be on LU, I assume so. I forget what happened at the end of their last show... Mundo vs. El Patron? It's a little strange having the taped show. Like... it was cool to see him pop up in NJPW after the season was over, though.
