eBay Policy Change

I just receive 3 of these saying "We're writing to let you know that this listing for an item you won or bid on is no longer available:" for 3 different items being sold by 3 different people. What is going was there a big change in eBay policy?

    I think they may have found it to be an illegal item or a fraudulent sale. What did you buy?

    I didn't buy them they were pulled before hand but they were all dvds

    hehe, no Ron Jeremy just regular anime I remember one was the new Bleach Box Set

    I bet they were bootlegs. The seller probably got busted for selling bootlegs and eBay pulled all there auctions down. There are tons of bootleg anime DVDs all over ebay unfortunately.

    Bootlegs, that makes sense, I have purchased stuff before that was bootlegs, and I was like  WTF refund

    This happened once when I was bidding on a 'sealed' copy of rockin' kats for nes. I get them even if the item is removed for legit reasons by the seller.



    However ebay did email / call me about 4 months ago because of a costume I bought. I bought this mascot style shark costume from a chinese vendor. The guy was hella sketch, wrote the item value as $30 to avoid fees. I got the item, it was obviously sweatshop, I just wrote it off as I should of known better. Well, he ripped someone off who cared and ebay wrote me asking if my prior transaction with him/her was ok. I ignored it as I thought it was a usual survey but someone in their fraud dept. called me.
