I was posting a link for the community and was slapped in the face over it. It's bunch of crap, trying to do nice things and people have to do things that are uncalled for just because they have the power to do so.
I follow what I see mods do and then I get moderated for it I mean wtf people!
BTW.....can I get my PS2 modded in this thread?
If you are going to try and call out the mod squad, then you better have PROOF of:
1) Them scamming someone (99.9% of not happening, but hey, everyone is human)
2) Banning members for no good reason / deleting threads for no good reason (as opposed to locking)
And that's probably about it. "Moving threads" amounts to crying over spilt milk. There's a saying "you can't please everyone", and if you aren't pleased with the way the site is ran, there are certainly other retro forums out there.
I'd rather have mods that perhaps care too much, instead of not caring at all.

You are so right! It would be so awesome if we could treat everyone the same. Unfortunately sometimes a user is such a whiny pain in the ass, that we have no choice but to monitor everything that comes from said individual.

I wouldn't sweat the small stuff. None of the mods are perfect and ultimately they are just trying to keep the forum clean and organized. Now that we are getting more and more members, it makes sense that you have more and more hands in the pie and all of them want it done slightly different. Some mods care more than others do but ultimately I think the forum stays organized. I've yet to see a mod go truly overboard, I just think people get frustrated or upset when they are the one being dealt with.
Best thing to do: "just move on and try not to get offended".

I have no problem with the way things are ran here, and everyone here brings their own flavor of personality, and with that, comes their own flavor of moderation.
Other times? Paul will jump in a topic and politely tell me to knock off my flaming/irrelevant posts/trolling/general tomfoolery.
And every single time..they've been right.
Ive learned through lurking, no two mods are alike, and more importantly MODS ARE NOT ELECTED PUBLIC SERVANTS WHO HAVE TO ANSWER TO THE PUBLIC FOR THEIR ACTIONS.
I got no problems with you ice, you're cool in my book. But bro, if you don't like the way things are run..there are other forums.
