Should I get my Sealed Zombie Nation VGA graded?

I have a Zombie Nation that is factory sealed and it is in perfect
condition as far as I can tell. I was wondering if it is worth getting
it graded? Also, roughly what will the grading cost me? What would
it be worth after the grading? What would the grade be? Thanks.

  • No idea what it's worth...but if you are into VGA games or you hope to sell it more easily, grading this title is a good choice.
  • I probably wouldn't grade that title. You're looking at at least $40 in the cheapest fees with the cheapest shipping / return shipping options, and I'm not sure how much it'd affect value.

Considering I traded it to you a few months back, I'm 99% confident it is at least an 85. I want to say it was possibly even 85+, but I think it might have had a very slight bend at the top or on the right spine? Corners and wrap were near perfect though.
  • any sealed collector should love to buy that copy as it is a tough title to find even not sealed. I know if it were me, I would just leave it as it is or open it so the wrap doesnt eventually shrink the box.....

  • Thanks everyone. I've never tried to get anything graded before and I was just looking for some input. The reason I was wondering about the value is I wanted to know if getting it graded would be worth the investment if I held onto this for 20 years or something.

Also, I have a Tetris 2 in pretty much the same condition, I assume the answers would probably be the same about getting it graded... Then I guess my question would be what games are even worth getting graded? Just the ultra rare or fantastic conditions?

It just seems crazy looking at previous auctions on ebay what some VGA sealed games are going for. (Where's waldo for $120, Ninja Gaiden for $999, Paperboy 2 for $200)
