Ebay + Girlfriend = BAD
OK i gave my girlfriend 50$ to get a phone, she bought it from Walmart, one of those prepaid ones (which was more expensive then we thought) so she decided to sell it on eBay without telling me. The item sold with one bid for 9.99 + 2 shipping. The guy sent payment but she was dumb and thought eBay worked liked amazon where the funds go right into your account, so she never accepted it. The seller jumped on that and instantly said the phone was stolen when he WENT TO ACTIVATE IT (you cant activate a prepaid phone im pretty sure) and he left negative feedback.
NOW since she never uses her eBay account i went on it and saw she sold it, got negative feedback and never received the money according to Paypal records, and no refund was issued either. Since i paid 50 and got nothing in return beside a negative, and this prick gets a free phone, was wondering if anyone knows what to do??????
I tried to open an unpaid item case, but it said he paid despite the lack of funds that were never received. She said she still has the original receipt, hopefully someone on here knows something to do, i don't really care about the 10$ but this negative pisses me off.
Hope someone can help!!!!
Thanks.

Damn straight it was stolen, homeboy never paid for the phone!
On the serious side, I hope you resolve this issue. I'd get in contact with a representative of the company you purchased the phone from (virgin mobile or whoever) and get them to verify your legitimacy. If the phone is legit and you can provide documentation of it's purchase and the buyer is full of $#!7 you can probably get this nulled by ebay / paypal.
Don't mean to go all Dr.Phil but the real problem is communication. If she had just talked to you prior this wouldn't of happened and you could possibly returned the item. Don't mean to pry but it's just my 2 cents.

i agree, i told her to keep it incase her new phone broke like the other one did so she didnt have to run off and spend 50$ again for another temp. replacement.
