Art themed: NES box templates
Greetings. I always did like how some of the older NES games had a template they used for their box art, and my favorite ones definitely go to Capcom, specifically, the first generation, AKA the "Captain Commando Challenge Series". We all know that a good number of Publishers had their own template, such as Konami's "Grey Bars" template, or Data East's rather basic template, and Nintendo's own "Black Box" template.
So basically, I figure perhaps we could use a thread where people can submit their barebones templates, so that people could use them to make their own boxes and carts, be it for fun or amusement purposes. Personally, I'd like to see Makai Island with the Captain Commando template, considering it was meant to be released in 1987, the last year said template was used.
Perhaps this could be available for usage with image editing programs like Photoshop or GIMP, as it would have "spaces" that you could enter your text or images in. This is just an idea though, and hopefully people will like this idea!

The Cover Project probably has templates in those styles, as well as quite a few others.

And there's no Capcom template, and even if there was, it'd be designed for use with a case, not as a box. It's like looking for tires, but the only thing you find are toy wheels.
You'd be surprised how irrelevant most of the results are. Google has went from being a useful search tool to being an overly complicated of a mess, and looks for anything with "the", "cover", "project", "NES", "Box" or "Templates".

Well there isn't a "let me bing that for you" yet so, hey, it is what it is.
OH WELL

There are quite a few designs I've seen on their sight that were "classic Capcom" style.
I would be surprised if you can't find what you're looking for, with any amount of effort.
They do have a forum where you could post and ask them directly.
