Gameboy Printer with AC Adapter
I just got a lot in the mail that I won on eBay and found an interesting piece. It came with a Gameboy Printer but it has a power cord coming out of the bottom of it which is soldered into where the batteries should go.
Thought it was interesting and didn't know if any of you guys had heard of such a thing.

I have one of those as well. They were used as counter displays for retail stores.
Did you happen to get the plastic counter display holder for it also? I don't have a picture handy, but it looks like a large acrylic hand and holds the GB Printer and pamphlets, but that's usually swapped with a Game Boy Pocket when collectors get a hold of it.
Glad to have some information on it. I was doubly confused when the AC adapter was a Nintendo brand. Your information makes a lot of sense.
Nah, I just got the printer; nothing fancy. Well, I made out well on the lot, but that's a different story : )

No problem man.
I'm looking forward to hearing about your deal too.
