Comic book Collectors

I posted a finders-keepers a few weeks back. Took a gamble on a box of comics at a flea market-yard sale commune type place.

Spent $20 got roughly 176 mint condition comics all mint..most in sleeves. Years range from '89-'92. Marvel, DC, etc

I dont know shit all about comics, i DO know that anytime i can ge 176 comics for that price ill turn a profit.

Rather then auction them on the bay blindly.. i decided to ask the only collection community iI know. I know alot of you collect other things besides nintendo.

Im hoping one of you know comics. I trust this community, would rather get it appraised/ sell to you guys then a random comic shop.

Can anyone here help me appraise these if iI were to list them?

  • Did you have a list of issues, I could easily pick out anything of value.
  • ^ same! If you have a list, I could tell you what's valuable and what isn't... it really depends on what issues you have!
  • I can compile a list right now. In fact.. I'll do that

yea, sadly unless its a key issue, rolling into the late 80's is when comics starting resembling what we have today.  Most of them are very hard to sell unless you have a long run of a specific series.  That how I had to sell alot of mine.
  • Speculative collectors really ruined the hobby with comics. In any case, I'd browse Newkadia.com. They go by current value and the site is easy to navigate.
