  • Why would these be illegal to sell? And why is the attorney general trolling craigslist?

I'm willing to bet it's illegal to sell outside of health care systems there because it takes away from insurance/the medical field, and someone was trolling CL and informed the AG.
  • I work aat a chiro clinic and was selling these for the doctor aparently you need a Home medical eq. license to sell these or something. Thankyou all for your help
  • only illegal to sell if they were purchased through your insurance - considered "double dipping" - apparently they have a serial number on them so the companies can track each one. are you sure that someone isn't trying to pull a fast one on you? what are you supposed to do with them?
  • you need to be a Home Medical Equipment Provider in the State of Ohio under Chapter 4752 of the Ohio Revised Code - qix im sure it varies from state to state and no this isnt a set up or scam
  • The answer for some, 'Why?". It's because it's medical equipment. You can't sell defibrillators either.
  • Flagged for ya.

    its pretty fucking bad
  • I still think somebody was pulling your leg (I doubt the attorney general would call you, and the next time they do, get the person's full name and office phone number).

How would you like it if your little old grandmother bought something of a shoddy craigslister  (not targeted towards OP!) who sold her one of these and it wasn't in full working order and she got hurt or worst because of it?

I for one think the regulation on medical equipment is a good thing.
  • Apparently over 9000 flags, ^ sad thing is i prob. test these things more than most registered people. They arent rock science you literally flip a switch to make them work. And im prob way more honest than most sellers.
  • Well I think if the Ip's arnt local the flags will be ignored for the most part its kinda wierd
  • What were you selling?
