Cool ball sealed

It has been two weeks, so I can post the link.

appears to be ntsc, but has a greek label on the front. another greek seller has another one that sold today.

This is a very rare gameboy game that is hard to find CIB, let alone sealed.

  • Greece. I bought the one that sold today and the seller cancelled the transaction after I requested more pics. The seal is there but it has blatantly been opened, or if the game was never opened, like 25% of the seal is broken. It's a rare box, but I chose to pass on a sunfaded "sealed" copy at $40. Probably a good deal for rarity, but that's not up to my collection standards.
  • They also pop up in France alot.
  • Man I'm starting to come to the conclusion that lot's of Gameboy and Game Gear leftover USA stuff was shipped off to Euroland to sell after it couldn't sell here. I see lots of Game Gear sealed stuff still pop up over there. Including the $500 Sealed Mega Man from a Greece seller who robbed me and never shipped it. Had to get post master general involved to finally get refund from Paypal. UGH! Sadly I'd rather have the game still than the money.
  • Yeah I'm not going to try and brainstorm a theory, but I'm just cautious of rarities when they pop up in quick succession. It's not quite like Caltron, but it reminds me of Syndicate on SNES. I needed that damn CIB for over a year, then I finally snagged out out of Korea. And I'm sure that Korean seller has sold at least a few dozen by now, I lost count long ago.
  • damn, it took me YEARS to find just a cart only copy of coolball, hardest GB game i ever had to find.

It's weird, but I've found many duplicates of some titles. You can get a sealed Aero-the-Acrobat here, and have a choice of which one you want. It's like they had tons ship, but none of them sold. I'm not surprised about the Syndicate game, I was offered one as well by a local seller (and NA member). It was a re-seal, but it looked alright CIB wise.

  • The Euro stuff for Game Boy is very old news...it's just not something I talked about 10 years ago when I was checking for them and buying them =) In the past few years it has, though.

Thats ok man even if it has been 10 years.

The guys here have no problem talking about their cool balls or even checking yours out. You will find that they are overall supportive and it helps to know you are not alone.

I feel like a prostitute talking about my Cool Balls.
  • i am from greece too and i found a sealed one at a flea market.Actually these games are resealed from "itochu",  the official delegation company of nintendo for greece, because they wanted to put in the greek instructions, so they ripped the red tape and they stuck this white sticker. How much you think i could get? i think it's in a good condition.
