Skrillex and dubstep in general is just... such crap. I don't understand the hype. Maybe it's the hipster mentallity? *shrug*

Anyway, I never really had a favorite. I liked the games back in the day, but never got too heavily into them. I always liked the ghost-type Pokemon. I'll go with Gengar.
  • I never played a pokemon game on gameboy, but I liked Alakazam when I played pokemon stadium with my brother

Personally, I am glad something NEW has come down the pike. The hipster culture has latched onto rap for over a decade and it was so getting boring.

    Oh and Dratini was awesome.

  • Gyarados was always my favorite
  • For me it was Pikachu, Charmander, and Meowth due to the cartoon. I watched it before going off to class in the morning before people who what the hell pokemon even was.

Like Scotty I was from an earlier era as that Pokemon stuff showed up around 1995, so my thing was MUSCLE which I had to 'catch em all' and damn near did of all the pink, some of the colored ones too. I wish I knew what the hell I did with the things as I have not been able to dig up any of them at all at my parents place.

ROCKY -- Pokemon is as much of a game as an addiction if you're into the collector mentality much like full cart, cib, whatever types here. It's a standard RPG and each of those creatures get like 4 moves, you'll have to lose or ditch a new one as a 5th... arrives. Each levels up on its own unless you pull back and drop another out to share in the pot of XP. You go around, capture more if not all of them, they all are a strong and weak point to an element. In going around you'll have to take down various bosses (gym trainers) who are strong in a type, then go onto the next and so on until you have them all and do the final challenge which is a run up of battles to a final brawl. Around that you can get friends with the game and fight them or trade the little things out, which is needed, as carts deviously enough didn't have all of them. That's about it without getting into the details and fuzziness of it all. It's a love-hate for me. I hate you can't level up a party so it takes damn near forever if you do grab more than a dozen of them to push the story along, but outside that I think the battles are fun and exploring around is cool so every few years or more I'll grab another but I've yet to finish one (came very close in the run up on Yellow-GB but didn't.) I currently have FireRed a remake of my first one (Red which started the craze along with Blue), but I doubt I'll finish it as I got it cheap just to mess with it a bit.
  • I always liked the Pokemon used by team rocket. Specifically muk and weezing and arbok. I also loved haunter/gengar
  • another one of my all time tops was bulbasaur, dont know if that is anyone elses. Pretty much everyone of ash's original pokemons

I wrote this I can't believe I wrote that in a published form where everyone could see it... ... ...

Anyway I was allways big on grass, I like Venusaur, and Vileploom best of those though, I had a bunch of oddish and bellsprout one time named after various herbs like Basil and Thyme
