Trying to get this clone cart to work on NES

So I bought these funky multi-carts from Indonesia, called "X-Ciber" carts and they seem to be

made for some kindof wierd clone system instead of a regular NES.  They *almost* work on

a regular NES, I was thinking maybe some of the pins might not be able to make contact because they

are thinner than regular nes carts..  Anyway,  I've included some pics below, anyone have any

thoughts as to whether there might be a way to hack it to work?  I tried using my famicom->nes adapter

on it as well as straight into the toaster with the same result, the game genie gives just a black screen.

Edit: Sorry, this was meant for the Help Wanted section, but apparently I'm experiencing technical

difficulties.

  • A lot of these cheap glob-top pirates are built for the NoaC systems, and not properly coded for real hardware. I have several pirates, some work on legit hardware, some are graphically glitchy like in your pic. Good news is you can usually get these for $3 shipped so it's no big deal if a few give you problems. Try them in a clone if you have one.
  • Yeah, they weren't expensive and there is nothing special about them or anything, but I don't think they changed the bomberman soft much, it will run fine as is on noac.. And all the games on both carts have the exact same graphical glitch, which is making me think of a hardware issue rather than a software one, although it could be something with their menu software, it (menu) looks completely different on the two carts I have..

Unfortunately my only clone system doesn't seem to work very well so I can't give that a try at the moment.

The most interesting thing on either of these carts is "Cricket 2008", I'm curious what the heck that game is lol
  • It's probably just a pirate hack of International Cricket.
  • Moving to help wanted. Good luck Cradelit, I hope you get it working.
  • Probably a pirate built on incompatible voltages/logic, it's happened before.
