Need help operating collection area of my profile!

So i added a bunch of NES games one day, and now that im ready to go back and edit the list, im running into alot of trouble. I cant get to a simple screen where i can see the games and the empty box slots where i can just click if i have obtained the manual, box, or cart... or sealed...

Second off i really want to add some more collections for all my other game systems but not sure how to add :

"Sega CD collection"

"Snes Collection"

"Cdi Collection"

etc..

Is it the same as the way i added the NES NTSC collection? (which im not sure i did right, if somone would check..)?

I want to complete the american liscened games (loose or complete) and then have a separate collection link for the unliscened nes colletion..

thanks! Just want to start cataloging everything~

  • after a quick look at your NES collection page, i think your problem is that you checked off "hide quantity". if i click on "available" for your list it shows all of the games you have but no check box column for them, just the rarity. if you look at mine (which is set to only display carts, but i track instructions and boxes on there too, they are just hidden), youll see that i have the rarity AND a quantity column. that right there will help out with you being able to check off each C I B that you have, and it will allow the "missing ( C I B)" filters to work when someone is viewing your collection.

to add those other collections, hit "manage collections" tab at the top, then click "new collection wizard" and it will let you pick the platform and region.

if you want to split up your NES collection into licensed and unlicensed its pretty easy. make a new collection titled unlicensed but leave it empty. now manage your current NES collection, filter it by license code, and then using the check box on the far left, check off all of the ones that dont have a license (not the ones that say "none", those are early licensed games before nintendo assigned codes). once you check them all off in the blue box above your list, it'll have two drop down boxes, one says "move" and the other will have all of your collections. pick the new "unlicensed" one and then click GO. itll move all of them there, saving you time from having to manually add/remove them all and re-check them.

  • just wanted to add that the "quantity" column is a bit misleading for a generic collection because it only allows it to be checked or unchecked, so quantity is either 1 or 0. if the collection is a For Sale or For Trade type, then you can actually put numbers for the quantity instead of check marks.
  • Dam thanks for all the help, let me spend some time going through your instructions and fixing / adding what i need to! then ill be back with more questions for sure.

How do i delete old forum posts so i can make a new one? (ie, some forum areas only let you have one post (for sale section for instance))
  • Ok got all of the NES carts update and looking how i want it... Now i've run into another prob!

I want to separate my entire nes collection into licensed and unlicensed... Whats the easiest way to do that?
