How to tell apart a sealed ps3 game from a resealed one?

I have a copy of mgs4 that appears to be an official seal(although im not too familiar with what it looks like) with triangular type folds formed over the top and bottom. yet inside the case i can see a very small tear towards the edge of the artwork that may indicate it was used.

any ideas are appreciated, thanks!

  • post pics. A tear behind the plastic would usually mean a reseal, but if it's around where there is a hole in the hard plastic case it could just have been pressed in from something bumping it.
  • Yeah post pics. I have a few factory sealed ps3 games and can compare then when I get home from work for ya.
  • not the greatest pics but you can kind of see a very small tear going down the left side of the A in the word battle

thanks for the help guys, i just sold these item on ebay and want to make sure its legit before i send it to the person and perhaps hear complaints. i suppose I should probably let them know about, but then again im being paranoid and it is extremely small.
  • really hard to see it but I think i see what your talking about. What game is that? MGS4? Ive got a sealed one and the wrap around it is really tight. The one in your pics looks kinda loose and has wiggle room. If so then I'd say reseal.
