E-Merger for GAME BOY - CiB, GREAT Condition, with EXTRAS!

I love this device.  It's the absolute BEST original GAME BOY backup device I have ever used.  I am not even completely decided on selling it, but I thought I would see what the interest is.

Want to know LOTS more about the device?  Look here - - http://www.pocketheaven.com/ph/wiki/E-Merger

This thing is in EXCELLENT condition, and comes with the 64 MB card.  That's about 20 games capacity.

DISCLOSURE - - there is a scratch on the back of the cart from the damn Game Boy Advance cartridge slot screw.  I hate those screws . . .

I am including the RADIO SHACK power adapter (as advertised, it never did come with one, they always made you find your own) as well as a PARALLEL PC cable.

Here's what comes in the retail box - -

And, the lovely device, in great condition, still runs perfect

And, you can run it off a 9-volt battery, too, and can dump from cart to cart WITHOUT hooking it up to a PC, too (again, read up at http://www.pocketheaven.com/ph/wiki/E-Merger !)

Again, I can't stress how GREAT this device is!

It is ROCK solid as a flash cart.  The only issue I EVER has was that after a few years of use the battery backup ran out of juice and I lost my saves!  I had almost finished ZELDA, too . . .  It's easy to pop open the cart, however, and replace the CR-2032 battery.  I will put a FRESH battery in there for the buyer before I ship, too.

Another awesome little detail is the ability to have it natively switch between widescreen/normal GAME BOY size screen on a GBA, just like a real cartridge.  It may seem minor, but I find it terrific.  GOOMBA on the GBA doesn't do that.

SO, there is is - -

ALL of this, for which I am asking $180.00 plus shipping costs

Let me know if you have any questions, but again, do a quick search for E-MERGER or visit here, and check out the details - - http://www.pocketheaven.com/ph/wiki/E-Merger

Thanks for looking!!

  • It is a awesome hat!
  • I had one of these around 2000 or 2001 but I had the 16Mb version it works great and would probably work fairly well for dumping protos and the like I remember it being pretty slow but I think all of these were slow back then.
  • Being a Parallel device, I knew speed wouldn't be there

Do you recall if you could use a rom file from a pc and upload it to the cart?

and incase anyone wants to see it in action, i found this!

You can indeed upload ROMs from the PC to the cart without a problem.

The PARALLEL PC cable speed is not that big of a deal, really.  The time feels no worse than transferring to/from most USB devices or an SD card.

Neat video, too, BTW!  I was watching that one the other day, as well.  A good summary.

  • This device is SWEEET!! Thanks again!!

Now I no longer have to carry around 20-30 games in my pocket. I can carry them all on 1 cart. So long bulky, pocket bulging, gameboy carrying cargo pants!
  • so long to your Pink Gameboy Fanny Pack ? LOL
  • NEVER! Keeping that pink fanny pack, gotta keep my link cables someplace. Never know when I may bump into someone playing Pokemon Red or Blue who wants to battle it out!
  • Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I'm looking for the 3.01 version of the PC software for this device and all links online seem to be long dead. If anyone has this software could you please hook me up? Google drive or Dropbox or something? It would be much much appreciated.

    Thank you all

Please don't necro bump old threads like this.  You can make a new thread in the Help Wanted section to see if anyone can help you out, but no need to bring old for sale threads up to the front.

    Thanks and good luck
