LOL, funny review. Action 52 is one of the big reasons I don't even bother collecting unlicensed NES stuff.
There are a few decent unlicensed games.... don't discount all of them because of this steaming pile.

I thought Alfred N the Fettuc didn't work.
On some carts, the two games AVGN couldn't get to play, actually work. Mine can play all 52 as well.
Edit:
Good review. Although, I would have liked a summary of which game(s) were the best and worst at the end (or somewhere)

Yeah, mine all played them fine. Lucky me (or not)!

What is the actual order of his videos? I saw this and the Golgo 13 and missed the back story stuff as it was out of order.
Action 52 came after Golgo 13, so you're good! But we did skip Ultimate Stuntman here on NA, if you want to go back and watch that, and I think Power Pad Fun which came right before this. <goes to check notes>
Also you have to realized that these 52 games were made in less then 2-3 months ALL OF THEM, I do not know how many of you have worked or are working in the game industry but that time frame does not allow for much testing and bug scrubbing. Also most of these games made by one guy (graphics, music and code). Although these games are not the greatest you have to give a little props for the sheer effort that was put behind them.
A lot of these unlicensed games were one or two man dev teams for all of it. After making my own iphone game with a group of guys I have a little more respect for these guy's and what they did and how little of resources they had to work with.

I have 3 on my Action fail 52 that do not boot on any NES system.

Yeah, it we were in elementary school instead of real life they'd still get a gold star for effort

I think I saw the PowerPad one too. I've been watching them on your site though. Is it order if I sort through by the oldest post ? You moved away from YouTube right and reuploaded them all on your site? (Some episodes are all posted on the same day so it's hard to tell.)
I saw the failed dinner/breakup video before the Golgo one so I was kind of switched around.

Well yeah, but my wallet tells me I have to draw the collecting line somewhere so that seems as good a place as any!
BTW, where did people go about buying Action 52 back in the day, anyway? I never even heard of it until I started collecting a few years ago, although being unlicensed it was obviously never mentioned in Nintendo Power or anything. Was this thing ever sold at Toys R Us or Fred Meyer?
