Try first party Nintendo stuff that isn't a big franchise like Mario and Zelda. Then again being smart you can get Mario Land 1&2 for like five dollars. But outside that in my point theres alleyway, baseball, tennis, radar mission and various others. Most puzzle games tend to be really cheap too. If you consider ten dollars or less cheap much of the gb and gbc library can be picked up with a little work and some gba too.
