Just picked it up and have it paused on level two, what are all ya'lls thought on the game?

    First, of all, I think that's my favorite box/label art!



    I don't know if you've played the other Valis games, but this one is definitely different from the others in that there are no cut scenes whatsoever. Later I found out that this is a butchered version of the PCE game.



    For what it is, it's not bad, but since it lacks a lot of the Valis charm, it was pretty boring to me.

    As soon as I popped this one in, I loved it. I beat it the first night. I should check out the other ones if this pales in comparison.

    You can check out Valis and Valis III on the Genesis. For some reason, Valis II was not released in the US (unless it was on the TG16, but I think there's only a "chibi" version of it). I have no idea why the SNES only has one Valis. Pretty weird.

    Super Valis IV is a good game. It has a decent challenge but there's unfortunately not a whole lot to it.



    I've also played the 2 on the Genesis too which are decent, but I've never played the PCE version of IV which is supposedly fantastic.
