Are there any major differences between the genesis and the gba versions of Gunstar Heroes?

    I think the Gunstar Heroes on gba is a sequel to the genesis version.

    Huge difference. The gameplay has been enhanced (IIRC, you can walk back and forth while shooting in the opposite direction), there are a ton of crazy graphical effects, and of course, the stages are new. Great, great game--definitely a must play if you like the original Gunstar Heroes.

    the GBA one is good but there will always be nothing that touches the original having played the shit out of it as a kid. Both great games in their own rights if you like side scrolling action titles
