Questions about Nintoasters, Electrical Engineering, etc.

So recently, I've been brainstorming ways to make money. Don't ask why. a long time ago, I came up with the idea to build Nintoasters as a business, but because I could not get the necessary supplies to build one I stopped. Now, I'm thinking of bringing that idea to fruition, but there's a few problems. And they can be solved if you guys answer a few questions:

1. Though I know a lot about making these and how to solder and the thinking part of building one of these, I have never actually done a project before. That's most likely going to be a problem. Do any of you reccomend some projects to start with before I start making nintoasters?

2. What is the value of one of these Nintoasters? As in, how much would you buy one of these for? I need to know the value before I start building these so I can make sure I can make a profit.

Thank you in advance.

  • You cant just ask for a general value as its going to depend on how professional and clean it looks. Im sure hte Nintoaster AVGN has would sell to the right person for a decent sum as its very clean and professional looking. Do you have any other projects you have done similar?
  • Well I would see if you could do it first. Unless your thinking of employing people to do the mod for you, but if that's the case they should just sell the Nintoasters themselves. Labor is huge factor for this and these are labor intensive probably people wouldn't want to spend more than 150 on it I don't see a huge demand for it. A more lucaritive market would be a mass production of Stereo Modded-Rgb Nes however the parts are very expensive or less expensive alternative would be a PC in a Nintendo Shell

If you want to see what people think throw a poll in here and get a gauge on what people are thinking.
  • @ulasamosa so if I built something that looked as clean as AVGN's nintoaster, how much do you think it would sell for? $150? $200?

@ThatNintendoGuy I don't think I have an intention of changing what I'm going to build, unless I get a large sum of money to fund it or something. I also have no intention of employing people.

Also, as I said earlier, I have not done any other electrical projects such as this. Do you guys have any suggestions as to what I should to do start out first? A theremin or something?
