The Next 50 Video Arcade: A Hands-On Gaming Exhibit
Hello NintendoAgers!
As some of you know, I am involved in starting up the Northwest's first and best video game museum - The Seattle Interactive Media Museum (SIMM).
I am proud to announce that, as part of the Seattle Next 50 event, the SIMM is hosting a month-long video game history exhibit at the Seattle Center House from June 1st-June 30. The exhibit is 100% playable for patrons and 100% free.
I am sending this communication because we need your help! We are seeking volunteers to help ensure exhibit patrons have a great time. All through the month of June we are looking for those interested to sign up for 4-hour volunteer shifts. There will be a very basic training session for those who sign up.
Registration could not be easier.
Simply visit https://www.shiftboard.com/TheNextFifty/ and sign up.
Important: To specify the SIMM Video Game Exhibit, enter "SIMM" in the field labeled "Other Credentials" on the signup page.
Shifts are available on a first come, first served basis.
If you love video games (which I know you do) and want to support this awesome museum project, please consider joining us for this event as a volunteer.
I am happy to answer any and all questions you have about the SIMM, the exhibit, or anything else video game-related. Thank you SO much and we look forward to seeing you at the Seattle Center!
