Black screen on Godzilla for SFC

in Help Wanted!
i just region modded my super nintendo (american) to play SFC games via the tab trick front mission runs great and works fine but Godzilla Monster War does not it boots up fine i can start the game but when i go to select a monster to fight it loads the battle and the VS screen shows then the music stops and the screen goes black different music starts to play but the screen stays black and 2 player battle just goes to a black screen i have cleaned the cart and it is still not working if needed i can upload a video of the problem if it would help

    unfortunately i dont have any help to offer you other than to tell you i am using the same setup (usa snes, sfc cart) and mine doesnt do that.

    could it be a fake cartage it looks pretty real to me though i could upload pics

    if you have a bit to open the cart that would be the best bet then you can inspect for any damage or dirt and such that could be causing the issue. being able to look at the board would almost surely give you a definite answer either way on if it were a bootleg cart, though i dont think this particular game was a heavily pirated title.
