I laughed.
and i'll lay off of posting new topics today
Ok sorry.. I've only ordered one game from him, it was listed as good condition and it was terrible..
Stay away from DKOldies
i just don't like it when people use the same pic for all there acutions.
and recently i decided to give them another chance because he had a manual i needed, and he screwed me again because instead of sending me the manual he sent me the cart for the game when i complained he sain send it back i said the game isnt worth the shipping just send me the manual and he never responded..
WARNING dont buy there.
Messed up labels, sun fading.
He also lists them as clean, and they are dirty and the pins need a serious cleaning..
Also, it shipping charges used to be a lot worse, with VERY poor combined shipping rates.
When buying from DK, I knew going into it that I'd likely get some crappy games, and I did at times, but I also got some nice ones as well. At this point, I don't think I'd buy much from him, as I prefer to give my business to sellers that show what they're selling. There are exceptions to this, however -- I snagged a Tagin' Dragon manual from him a while ago for $1.50 BIN. I didn't really care what condition it was for that price (but it arrived near mint). Same with DiscountGames -- I snagged a DK Jr. Math manual for $4.99.
i see dks negs have went down a bit lots of neturals tho
The reason his negatives went down is because the overall amount of feedback he receives is WAY down. He's lost around 50% of his business in the past 10 months and fading fast. I watch the buying accounts of the resellers as part of making a judgment on their financial success (though his actual sales numbers can be had at Terapeak.com), and DK hardly buys anything anymore. (nesgamebuyer is his buying account). If I had to guess, he's out of business within a year unless he makes some drastic changes.
2-3 years seems to be the lifespan of legitimate eBay businesses anyways. I've seen some big sci-fi CCG resellers fade in and out in about that time that had as much stock as I do. I think at that point, they either stop paying fees and open their own e-commerce site, or just stop doing business and get a real f'in job
Only big time seller that I deal with is sosafan... haven't dealt with pedro yet, but I would.

dkoldies is terrible. The games I received were all blemished, and when I tried to contact them about the items they hadn't shipped I never got a response. He deserves the hall of shame purely for recommending people to clean games with water and rubbing alcohol.
If I had to guess, when he bid on your system, he failed to read the listing and believed he was also bidding on the stack of games in the picture. He's a complete scumbag so good luck with him.
...he'd stolen 11 of the games he wanted. Because he returned them, he got his entire payment back...
Wow this is really enlightening. Like you said, a real scumbag. At that point I wonder why he even bothered to send NES games, why not a box of rocks. If he's going to scam you why not go all the way. Dirtbag thief.

Returning some games is just bizarre. He could claim 'not as described' and get his chargeback, and keep everything...maybe he thought you wouldn't notice. I can't speak for individual customers, but it clearly appears that he has no qualms screwing over competing sellers.
I'm not entirely convinced the guy is going broke. Though, for the life of me I can't see how he isn't hemoraging cash.
