Sega Master ... Not NES sorry

Thought maybe some of you guys colleted sega master systems as well. I noticed most people tend to expand into other systems...

Sega Master System:

Choplifter - game and instructions
Action Fighter - game only
The Ninja - game and instructions
Black Belt - game and instructions
Great Volleyball - game and instructions
R-Type - game only
Hands on & Safari Hunt - game and instructions
Zillion - game and instructions
Rambo First Blood II - game and instructions
After Burner - game only
World Grand Prix - game and instructions
Great Golf - game and instructions

All have original boxes, which say "The Mega Cartridge" on them.

I found boxes for Great Baseball and My Hero, but no games - which I suspect are simply misplaced.

  • oh yeah, a lot of people here collect other systems. I myself collect the best games for each system except for systems that suck to me like Virtual Boy or Atari's. But looks like you got some pretty good finds nothing crazy though, but I guess those are good finds counting that there are like no games that came out in the US for the SMS. So good find.

  • whats a good price on something like this though, i haven't closed the deal, still working the numbers
  • Without the boxes the games aren't worth much. Zillion might be worth $4. Even boxed, most SMS games aren't worth more than $3 or $5. Just not many people collect, which is part of what makes it rewarding. You can get some great games for just a tiny bit of money.

Systems, in good shape, tend to go for around $40.

So if you have a system in there too, I'd say top out at $50. If it's just games, try not to spend more than $10 or $15.
  • In great shape, here's retail-

    Choplifter - $10

    Action Fighter - $2

    The Ninja - $5

    Black Belt - $3

    Great Volleyball - $5

    R-Type - $3

    Hands on & Safari Hunt - $8

    Zillion - $8

Rambo First Blood II - $6

    After Burner - $2

    World Grand Prix - $3

    Great Golf - $3
  • He wanted 75, so i told him e-bay was his best bet... offered 35
  • He must have the gold filled games..LOL
  • lol he just replied he'll sell it for $40... any of you interested? Or would it be worth reselling at that price?
  • You could make a okay profit, but it might take a while to sell. Pretty niche market.

I wouldn't do it.  If you could profit you'd hold them for awhile.
