Definitely a "who needs it" kind of thing. If you put it up for sale for like $200, you might not get any bites because very few people have the cart only.
I was one of them... I think I bought the box/insert or whatever for $225 from BuyAtari like 6 months ago.
i still need all of it, so since there are far more out there sealed than cib, i will just go for a mint sealed one at some point if the price is right. anyone have an extra for sale? i'd be interested!
In case anyone else just needs the box I put the one I got from Parpunk up on eBay for $119.98 BIN. I have a guy thinking about it at the moment. For anyone on NA I would sell it for $105 shipped priority with delivery confirmation.

that was my old box only that i bought off ebay YEARS ago when someone was collecting and didn't want any boxes for their games. think i paid $4.00 for it. i remember trading that box and slew of games to parpunk before he even posted on the boards anywhere in trade for his caltron manual.
For some reason the thought of splitting up a sealed Cheetahmen II doesn't sit well with me. Since it's only release was basically into the collectors market, you really don't see copies split up. I like it that way. My two cents.
remember when this first hit the market it was the new joint, and it was dirt cheap. Many people I'm sure bought at least two, like a lot of toy collectors will. Although they may have kept the loose box and book and whatnot from the one they opened, but a number of these were definitely opened way back when. Who knows of the people who opened them kept the packaging, since they most likely also had a sealed copy in reserve.

This game was also sold in Etler's store (I think in FL) for around $10 each so there are copies floating around that more likely than not lost boxes along the way.
CIBs can fetch nearly as much as sealed copies (if for any reason, perhaps that CIB collectors would rather not open a copy, or that there are slightly fewer opened copies out there to be had...I'd say 1 in 10 of copies coming up recently were opened, though it used to be much closer to an even split). The last few sealed copies that have popped up have gone for $500-$600.

So how much is this worth CIB then? Are most copies that surface CIB or sealed?
I'd say about 95% of the copies are still sealed.
Wow, that's interesting. So what do these typically sell for?
Around $450-500
