I only collect guide's from games i collect - like Resident Evil, Dino Crisis, Metal Gear Solid etc. Some amazing artwork can be found in those.
That would be the sensible way to do it, Mike . . .
. . .but you know what us obsessives are like :ugeek:
Managed to find an Arkham City hardback locally for £20, so I'll be posting some pics when I've unsealed. It looks so nice all sealed up that i haven't the heart to unwrap it at the moment . . .
You can't afford not to get them at that price. Luckily, all those i picked up i have the game for so they might actually come in useful apart from having something to read
. . .I was down in London and visited the Book Exchange in Notting Hill Gate and found a very scarce hardback edition of Dragon Age Origins for just £5.
This starts at £50 used on Amazon, so i was well chuffed. I'll post a pic soon.
Also found a Final Fantasy X-2 paperback guide for £2 but i'm not so excitied about that.
And . . .talkng of cheap. I bought a Homefront guide in Gamestation for the magnificent sum of 1p :!:
I bought it as I thought not only will i go with my explorer edition but I really couldn't be arsed to find the treasures without a guide like I did in 2.
Amongst the Strategy Guides that I own are a Piggyback LE of Final Fantasy XII signed by Balthier and Vaan's English VA's and I'm hoping to get my LE Final Fantasy XIII-II Strategy Guide signed by Lightning's English VA next month at MCM Expo in London along with a copy of the Mass Effect 3 CE for PS3.
Also, I'm selling via my eBay store 2 unsealed Collector Edition Strategy Guides for Gears of Wars 3 and 1 Collector's Edition Strategy Guide for Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword as well.
I confess I hope I can find a copy of the Arkham City Collector's Edition Strategy Guide at a reasonable price to go along with the Collector's Edition of the game which I picked up for only £45 brand-new at a Gamestation in Liverpool a few months back!

That's a particulalry nice one and I think it will appreciate in value so hang on to it.

I'd love to pick up some cheap strategy guides, but they wouldn't be worth the price of shipping such heavy books overseas anyhow.
