I'm looking to trade my Wii for either a PS3 or an Xbox 360 (preferably elite).  I have Wii Sports, Wii Play, SSBB, Super Maro Galaxy, Mario Tennis for GCN, 15 VC games, 2 Wii motes, 1 nunchuk, 1 Classic Controller, 4 GCN controllers, and 1 GCN memory card.  I'd like to get one of the above with at least 2 controllers and a handfull of games.  I know I'm going to get heckled for this, but my fiance is buying me a Wii in May, so...

why is your fiance buying you a Wii in May? Why not just have her buy you one of the other consoles :-P ... unless she isn't suppose to know you have a WII yet?

No, we made a deal, and her end was to buy me a Wii, so she won't change to buy me something else, or just give me the money. She says I just won't get anything, and that can't happen.

Um..never? Trade my 360, the pinnacle of home console gaming...for a Wii? The Wii which is Rated MOON for -1 Chromosome? No, I think not.



But why don't you do this. Have her buy the Wii, then exchange it for a 360 Elite; most places don't require a receipt for exchanges, just say it was a gift. Or sling it on the Bay, and use the cash to buy one. PS3 are pointless, and 360s should be bought new just in the off chance you experience RRoD.

Actually, it looks like I may be getting both a 360 and a PS3 now. Found a 360 on Craig's List for $150 and a PS3 in trade for my Wii. Let's hope they both work out.

lol awesome, my girlfriend got me a Wii for my birthday and I bet her the bills would go 7-9 and not 8-8 or better last season she took that bet and I got a free jersey. I wanted a gym pass at the same time so she got me that instead.



On another note. Make sure the 360 works for a while. Because my friend had one that got that "red ring of death" and he said it works for a little while once it cools down but will just get worse over time. Good luck with the deals man I hope they work out.
