Can anyone confirm that there's no difference between a black case and red cases except the color. I mean can I just switch a red for a black without fucking things up completion-wise?
I had this same question before. It was because of the Mario 25th Anniversary thingie they had. There really is no difference between those and the black ones other than the red ones are mostly only on Mario games and they're reprints of the black ones. Same game, I think it even uses the same barcode (correct me if I'm wrong, anyone)
You can buy both red or black cases on Nintendo's website for real cheap if you wanna switch one with another.
