Legit seal or re-seal?

Bought this game off ebay. The seller had tons of them so I figure they where just being kept in a box somewhere. I didn't expect the shrinkwrap to look this bad. I think I already know the answer, but I'd like to ask you guys to make sure. Is this a legit seal, or not? I can take more pictures if needed.

  • It seems legit to me. Shrink wrap can expand and contract if the temperature changes too much.
  • Reseal in my opinion. I have 3 sealed N64 games and they all have a seam on the back. I don't know if they all should though.
  • Yeah no h seam usually means reseal
  • conflicting answers...
  • There are a ton of games in the N64 library with no H-seams, it's not like NES / SNES. It's a really cheap and abundant title so it is unlikely to be a target of reseals.

The 3-sided seam is semi-popular on N64, so this could just be one of those games. I'd go with a very high chance of being legit.
  • If it does help, this game had 3 K-mart stickers in the top right corner. It could have been in a bargin bin get shifted around many times before being sold.
  • Yeah, Jone is right. I've purchased dozens of bulk N64 common and sports titles in the past from local game stores closing down and I've discovered most of them don't have the H-seam. Some games have H-seam and then I noticed their greatest hits counterpart don't (NBA Courtside Kobe, for example), so maybe somewhere in the mix Nintendo abandoned the H-seam? I bet if you really wanted to know, the time the game was produced would tell you a lot? But Jone is right, there is a very unlikely chance someone would reseal a Shadowman, since it was such a common game. Wouldn't be worth the time for someone trying to score an extra 5 bucks vs it being just complete.
