  • My mouse is busted. You know how much of a pain in the ass it is just to post with no mouse? Not happening until the damn thing works again image
  • Just PM a moderator to do it for you image

I suppose PM'ing is a major hassle too?

If you look under windows disability/accessibility settings (or w/e its called) I seem to recall an option to let you control your mouse with the arrow keys. That could help you out til u get a new mouse.
  • Eh, I fixed it. It was more an excuse to be lazy image
  • and the oceans parted and virgins sang his name! thanks wiz image
  • I could go for a virgin right about now. Preferably of the female variety image

And no problem Dan. Now get off my ass image

Preferably? So you'll take a male virgin in a pinch? (or in the ass)
  • As long as I'm not on the receiving end of it I don't see the problem image
  • Is there a count anywhere on how many you have unsealed?
  • Yup, check the bottom of the guide image
  • The Guide looks great Wizard! I did happen to notice that Bart VS the World was omitted somehow!

I made a Sealed Game Contents List under 'my collections' so I could determine which games have yet to be added. I don't know if there is a way to add this to the official thread or if there is a need, but at least this can be used for now. Also, I didn't track variants so this is a simplified list to see which titles have yet to be opened.

  • How come NA isn't an authorized user of your guide image
  • Because a) I never thought to add NA because they don't normally host guides and shit, and b) I just copied and pasted from my other guides, which is why there's sites listed that aren't hosting the guide. If Dain wants to put it up here, all he needs to do is send me a message anyway. Takes 3 seconds to add one site to the list and upload it.

No doubt, I opened over 70 games for this list.
  • Well, consider this my express written consent if you wish to host it Dain.  I'll add you as one of the allowed hosts once I get a working mouse...I'm trying to use my computer as little as possible because I hate the keyboard-only interface image
  • it does exist!

great job on the list wiz
  • stack up

box = no code, sticker seal (1985 on the back)
    manual = no code
cart = no code, 5 screw
dust cover = nintendo brand (original, not shiny... obviously)
"nintendo game plan" poster detailing black box games = no code (1985)
    plastic tray for rob parts
    rob parts
    baggie for cart
  • ^Wow man you opened a Stack Up?! Did you take any pics?
  • ^ I think it was Frisbee's damaged copy.
  • Seth, could you put the detail I actually asked about? Namely the copyright date on the Game Plan poster? Seems they changed them every year with games removed/added yearly, and an overall redesign every 2 years ('86 and '87 had one design, '88 and '89 had another, haven't seen an '85 yet though). In the '90s they added codes to the posters. Basically just need to know if that Stack Up had an '85, '86, or '87 poster included with it.

And yes, it was Frisbee's copy, he's the one who referred me to Seth.
  • It was opened as a result of crime image
  • As unfortunate and as tragic as it was for Ray and Seth, we'll take it! I can't see anybody opening a Sealed Stack-Up any time soon.
  • We'll take it as soon as I know which poster came with it, and not a second earlier image
  • In new games, how is the dust sleeve usually (or always) placed in the box?

Like this (so that you can see most of the label):
    image

    OR like this:
    image
  • You know, I've never paid much attention to the way the sleeve was placed. All I know is the baggie was placed around the cart and sleeve, and the manual and other paperwork was outside of the bag.
  • The first one Sanna. Out of the 70-80 games I've opened they have all been like that.
  • ^ But I believe the dust cover would be reversed for the Zelda and Link gold versions. The gold metal shows through the window on the box, correct?
  • Thanks!
  • I opened my first sealed nes game in 20+ years, very cool feeling. It's the only one I owned and not valuable so here's the info

    NES Open Tournament Golf

Cart (NES - UG - USA)

Instructions (NES - UG - USA)

Box (NES - UG - USA)

Nintendo Power Subscription Card (PMG - USA - 1)

Epilepsy Warning Sheet (NES - DOC - USA)

Now You're Playing With Power Poster (GP - NES - US) 1990C

    Black Sleeve w/Nintendo Label

Well that was fun, time to go play it now.

  • Copyright on the poster is only needed when there's no code on it (all the '80s ones), but you've got the right idea image I'm assuming it's a regular Nintendo sleeve and not the foiled one...late era Nintendo sleeves had shiny writing, but I think 1990 was too early for them...correct me if I'm wrong of course image
