Factory Sealed BB2?

Comments

  • seems fishy just so happens the guy has 3 rare factory sealed games
  • They could be. Though it's impossible to say from that picture. Guess you'll find out when the buyer leaves feedback.
  • I was the runner up bidder. I figured I'd take a chance with a new eBayer, but I didn't win it anyway. It could either be a great deal for the buyer, or a major headache. I guess we'll find out in due time.
  • Be careful with that.  He never claims they are sealed, just never opened and original.  I could remove the wrap from any game or get any game without the wrap and claim it had never been opened.
  • Yeah, between the very low quality pic, and the 0 feedback this auction screams scam. You never know, but most likely a new ebayer would just happen to sell 3 very rare sealed minty games in one lot like that.
  • I doubt the Bubble Bobble is real. There are supposedly only two of those sealed in existence and they both belong to members of this site, but you never know!
  • No, it's two known copies.

There are only like what? 15 known CIB of AW: FFF until I found a random one on eBay.
  • That is true, as soon as someone finds another there are three. Like Final Fight Guy sealed, I don't believe there were any know copies until Maximus randomly found over five hundred sealed SNES games chillin' in a warehouse.
  • Wow, how did you even find that auction? It couldn't have been listed more poorly.
  • what's the item number?
  • I would have taken the risk,Even if they are reseals CIB copys of those games can fetch close to $500 themselves.
  • Dang, wonder if it's the real deal.
  • Anyone message the buyer?
  • UPDATE -- so I messaged the buyer and he said that he received the games and that they were all factory sealed. I COULD NOT believe it, so I asked him to send me some pictures of the Bubble Bobble 2 from a few angles. He did and it's really tough to tell it they really are factory sealed. There is the H-seam on the back, but the seal as a whole just doesn't look right. It seems too rough to me, but who knows. He asked that I keep the pictures for myself so I'm not going to post them. But, the box is in perfect condition. I don't think I've ever been this unsure about any seal.

I messaged him on ebay and told him that I just wasn't sure if it was factory sealed or not. Also, I told him about nintendoage, so hopefully he will post on here sometime soon and if he wants to put up the pics he can. I also told him about you, Bronty (hope that's cool with you) and that you would be one of the best contenders on knowing if it's actually factory sealed.
  • I've already seen the pics as well. Looks OK to me at first glance but they are really rough camera pics so I wouldn't feel 100% comfortable until I saw it in hand.
  • DAMN-That is a super nice score if it is legit. From the small amount of sealed games I have seen,It seems than the later realeses had worse seals that the eariler realeses(not black boxes though). It seems that alot have "scaleing)Just my little bit of info on the subject.
  • he got a huge score if these were legit... NICE!
  • Yeah, I just checked the feedback out, that's pretty damn sweet... I don't think I'd ever pay more than a few bucks on an item from a seller with 0 feedback.
  • The chances of all those being legit factory sealed copies were probably less than 10% given the poor picture, listing, and seller feedback. I certainly would not have taken the gamble but that's just me. In the end, a great deal though, obviously, for the buyer.
  • BUMBIDIBUMBBPP! JESUS CHRIST! It was not fake...

    Best gamble ever.....
  • So he will end up selling those 2 games he bought in that lot for probably around what he paid for all 3. Which means a free sealed Bubble Bobble 2 which I am guessing he is keeping for himself. Is this person a member of this forum? I am guessing so.
  • I think he might be a member, but he told me he doesn't like to post on any forums anymore. Also, he notified me that he is accepting offers on the Bubble Bobble 2.
  • Whats a sealed BB2 bring? at least 1K I would assume.
  • More than that, I'm afraid...I'd say it could go for double that if it were perfectly mint. Even for a copy in excellent to near-mint condition, you'd still be looking at an easy $1300-$1600.
  • That's a find of a lifetime!
  • It's definitely worth more than $1600, if legit. That is for sure.
