Information for all Systems and Games
I am trying to set up a way for people to submit information for all systems/games/accessories/etc for all Nintendo game systems. Right now I have specific email addresses for each system so that people can submit the information we need to fill in the collection tool.
Any little thing you can submit will be a great help. We still need master lists for most of these systems, so if you have a good working one that we can fiddle with to make correct, that would be great.
Also, if anyone wants to take charge of any specific system, please let me know. The more help I get the faster we can get this off the ground. Thanks guys
Please send the following information about each game, system, and accessory to the appropriate email.
Required Data:
Title (exact title, including language-specific characters)
Classification (ie, licensed, unlicensed, demo, kiosk, etc)
Game Code (ie, NES-XX-USA)
Region (USA, CAN, etc -use the region code from the game code; if no game code, write out the country name)
TV Format (NTSC, PAL, etc)
Publisher Name (who released it?)
Developer Name (who developed it?)
Release Date (at minimum, provide the year)
Did it come with packaging? (ie, NWC, test carts, would be "no")
Did it come with paperwork? (ie, NWC, test carts, would be "no")
Required Equipment (an alternate device that is required to play the game, if any)
Other EXTREMELY helpful data (optional, fill in as many as you can):
Rarity (1-10, or 0 for unknown)
Alternate title (same game but different name? ie contra/probotector)
Manufacturer
Distributor (ie, Mattel, Bergsala)
Licensor (ie, Disney)
Licensee (ie, Nintendo on 10-Yard Fight, by Irem)
UPC (on the box, if it had one)
ISBN (if it exists)
ESRB (if it exists)
Version (if it had one; ie, wisdom tree games, test carts)
Platform-specific data (this is N64, for example):
Uses Rumble Pak?
Requires Expansion Pak?
Requires Memory Card?
Box Support Type
etc... add more here

I guess I should have made this more clear in the first post. Right now you can send information for games to the emails, but we do need to get a master list for each system. I know right now we have a starter for SNES, and nukie is working on one for Gamecube. I will make sure to hold onto any info given, but it won't be posted until we get lists.
Thanks for the interest so far though guys. Please if anyone else has a decent list for any other system, please pm it to me.
im pretty sure N64 US & Japan are very close to done if not already (as far as games go anyways), also Im about 60% done with a super famicom list
virtual boy should be done also
And mb, go ahead and make a complete list for every NES game, without using either NGD or Etler's lists, fill in all of the above information, and send it on. It shouldn't take more than a few hours!
that japanese N64 list came from me
that japanese N64 list came from me
Thank you very much. I didn't realize it was you.
I'm so glad to see this stuff is moving along so well. Keep it coming guys.

I've started working on a gamecube list, but can use all the help I can get.
I already have a full list of all gamecube games so save your typing.
I said I was working on this awhile back, it took me a little longer than I thought to get it done (mostly cause Im lazy), but here it is nonetheless
good luck with this Dain
