  • The Gauntlet Legends with figure was the first one, I bought it the day it came out. they are semi hard to find, I see the box, missing the figure semi-regularly, and I saw a sealed one go for $50 about 2 months ago. It's similar to the Micro Machines with the little car, but I think the Micro Machines is even more common.

just my thoughts. irregardless, they will be fun to watch.

FYI, "irregardless" is not a word image There is only "regardless". Rarebucky's grammar lesson for the day image

"irregardless" does denote a double negative, but it has snuck into the english language over the years. I would say it is easily a word. you are right though that "regardless" would have been a proper use. guess my degree in journalism is more of a joke than anything...

That reminds me of a Family Guy episode, where Stewie makes fun of Meg for saying that.

  • ^^^can you tell us the game?

I would say the three holy grails for sealed N64 collecting are: Clay Fighter:SC, ISS2000, and Mario 64 (original release).
  • Well.....Just about an hour left.LET THE FIREWORKS BEGIN!!!!

    plus Indy jones
  • IMHO I think The $800 Indy sale was a complete fluke. It has to do with the hype of the new movie being released.
  • A mint Indy sealed is still a very expensive sealed title and definitely more expensive than people think (it is definitely over $200, well over that).

Definitely in the top 10 more expensive sealed N64 titles.
  • grab a bag of popcorn and a cold beer were about to have a fireworks show, too bad the grand finally isnt for a few days...
  • Auctions going much lower than I would have thought so far.
  • adol and pooch going crazy and trying to overpay each other, as expected image
  • I had snipes of over $1200 on every single original GB lot. know how many bids went through? 0.

crazy stuff. those bids were for a group of people. $60 a title average for original GB games. wowsers.
  • who is happycstar?
  • Pooch is happycstar.
    Adol is collectorsking.

better question is who the gorilla person and 1stappearance.
  • who is zeyre?
  • some crazy GB titles in there, 2 7's on my list and some tough r4 and r5 boxes

I have $1100 snipes on some

  • My piddly $800 bid to test the waters was, well, a bit low (first GB lot)
  • i don't get some of the high bids, to be honest. there are lots there with nothing but common games not worth much. i guess this is the way to do it, huh? bundle a bunch of low value stuff together and have multiple auctions and you will get crazy bids.
  • Bronty is probably going to be pretty upset, but I tried. No way were we going to go $1600 on each GB lot.

I expected the SNES lots to go higher and the GB lots to go a little lower.

I watched American Dad today and they also mentioned the "irreardless" stuff image

EDIT: Dictionary.com do list "irregardless" as a word, but i dont know if its correct to write it or not. It seems you can use it to add emphasis if you speak (maybe if you write too, i dont know image).
  • If you guys can throw this kind of money out for games you'll never play, you can afford to come to AGEexpo and see real people. image
  • Man-Firstapperance spend almost $2500 on Gameboy systems alone CRAZY!!!

I agree Sara,Whoever got the SNES lots with the Aerofighters and BOF2 made out pretty well I think.Judging by these prices I dont see the Final Fight Guy auction hitting $4000,Maybe some of the NES lots.

  • I only went 1100 on 2 of them. the others I was out at 650, 550, and I thought I was high, some of the gameboy lots were kinda crappy, some others were awsome , but not 60 a game awsome...lots of common stuff in the mix .

and yes the FFG lot will be retarted, all the highrollers who lost out tonight still have their money

I too expected the GB lots to go cheaper, but in relation, they are much harder to get, just not as big a collector gtoup
  • and adol and pooch still have budgeted about $10k each for that lot image
  • I am beginning to rethink how I list my Metroid II...

$10k, that makes me happy. i already have one.

It would be nice to have the hangtab vaiant though. lol

  • 10K That is just stupid!! They can have it for that much.Huge congrats to the seller they are over 20K raised for United Way already with no NES lots sold.
  • Yeah, some of the snes lots were very retarded too. no way there's grand plus in some of those.

As for FFG, it is one of only 2 known, so yeah, some people will go nuts over it.
  • I did not bid on any of the SNES stuff, but I wish I had on one or two of the lots. Really decent prices on some of the SNES stuff. Some went high, but the aero fighters lot and a couple others went a tad low.

Congrats to pooch for winning those auctions. Crazy stuff, but that isn't too big of a surprise.
